Hi there - I am not quite sure what you mean here. I do have two kills, 13 losses sounds about right as I know I have lost at least 7 Ravens, including a Navy Issue.
As far as fitting the ships it's a little ironic that you looked me up on Battleclinic as at some point I started using Battleclinic to fit ships (like at Raven #3) according to the best specs. So.. Yeah, I already am using those fittings.

I suggest you learn how to fit your ships properly and get your skills sorted out. Then you might have more fun.
lol, i'm going to look him up to
Edit: so I went to battleclinic and saw you had no kills and only losses Kieth and I thought something was wrong so I looked you up on evsco and it's true you have 0 kills and 13 losses. That's not a good ratio, you need to get back to station asap, stat come out in 1 year

It's not what you do. It's who you do it with. You said that you applied to 30 corps and not one accepted your app? Unlikely and smells of trolling. I'm a recruiter so I know. But in the event you are telling the truth, forget your friends. Make new ones with a corp and the game really opens up. All the things you do now will seem alot more fun. -----------------

I believe 30 is very close to correct. I have 22 reject notices in my message folder in game. All corps applied to are at Jita 4-4 and I suspect that may be why. I don't know any of the people.

Looks like a major troll but just in case it isn't:
EVE is a sandbox. You can do anything. Find something you enjoy, be it market trading or PvP. You go find the fun, not the other way round in EVE just like in real life.
There are a lot of recruiting corps, check the recruitment channel and forums.
It honestly sounds like you've done nothing but mission running (and if you've lost that many ships at it you fail at that as well) and are expecting people to just randomly come up to you and offer you opportunities. It doesn't happen that way, you occasionally randomly run across opportunities but most you make yourself.

Unfortunately I can not access the HELP or RECRUITMENT channels in the game as and ISD is harassing me and blocked me from both.

This guy is a ****ing troll. Most of his reasoning is fatally fallacious, and when cornered by the sound reasoning of the good Samaritans posting here, he immediately changes his position. Post *anything* in the recruitment forum and you'll have posts upon posts asking you to join their corps. Likewise with the recruitment channel. Congrats on extracting 3 pages with your garbage. Now please leave.

Originally by: Keith Deteisrich Hi folks ~ I've been playing EVE since last July after being referred by a co-worker that played for 7 years but quit a few months ago. I'm actually about to quit playing as I can find little to do anymore. If anyone can suggest anything it would be appreciated as I did used to enjoy the game daily.
~ Mining isn't for me. I figured out how to make ISK by using the market and can make enough in 2-3 days to buy a PLEX so I did reach free play. ~ While my skillpoints are at 7mil every single Corporation I had applied to (about 30) simply denied my request to join with no explanation. ~ I started my own corp and have invited friends from College. Every one of them quit in the 1st month claiming it was too hard because the learning skills take so long. ~ At this point there's really nothing to look forward to because the skill training time takes too long. A week to learn Interceptors to get a Crow? Nah. That's crazy and too boring to wait for. ~ I can fly a Covert Ops cloaked Buzzard and scan out pockets very easy. Problem is that the best ones are on 0.0 and there's no way to get anything but a Buzzard in and out, so no way to transport rare ores. ~ Trained for a Stealth Covert Ops Bomber only to find out they can only be used in 0.0 so that was a worthless waste of time. ~ Have ran a lot of missions but lately I can not find any agents to work for. I read that the newest release had a lot more missions but I can't find them anywhere near where I dock (Jita 4-4). ~ Raising my security status is insanely hard. I can sit around in 0.5 space and blow up rats all day long in my Caldari Navy Issue Hookbill with Rockets (yes, Rockets!) but my security status only goes up by like 0.04 for 15 minutes of kills? If a 5.0 security status would be considered $5, that means I am making a quarter of a penny per rat kill? So I would have to destroy 2000 of the things to get to 5.0 Security status? I don't think so, another wastre of time and boring. The salvage loot is only worth what I can make on the market in less than 1 minute of price changes...
So, am I missing anything?
As far as "Give me all your stuff" nope. I've tried to give all of my ships to real friends, but they don't even keep playing for a month. If I do quit I'll just give everything away at Jita, which seems to be a fun idea actually. But it kinda sucks to have spent so long playing only to discover that there's not anything apparently fun to do.
Any suggestions welcomed. Thanks.

Hey folks ~
Quick update and once again Thank You for the input.
I did take suggestions and have these two things to report;
~ PvP is awesomely fun. Using a cloaked bomber I managed to destroy like 18 ships in one night, in fact stayed up all night and had to call in to work. Now THAT is fun! Problem is that I have since found out that I was in a "Rookie" system and that's against the rules, I think? Anyone have a link as I can't find it in the rules anywhere.
~ My Corporation now has like 9 members, as since I was denied to over 30 Corporations I decided to have one that accepts new people. It's working and these people are online 24 hours a day mining and running missions and getting into interesting trouble. I've done little but to provide them with massive overkill security. Issued some awards, they have brought in new members. It's really cool to watch.
So, that's keeping my interest.
People have provided really good advice and that is what I wanted. My 1st (well actually 3rd, but 1st planned) pVp kill was so exciting that I could not click the mouse in the correct order. Ever been there? I think a LOT of people know what I am talking about. After half a dozen I got to be more relaxed and focused on the skills of well, PvP.
But I have to admit I am still pretty bored.
What else is there that I am missing?
Thanks again.
Keith
PS: For those calling me a troll, get a life. :) I've invested in (2) Manticores and had them shot down on PvP 1 in every 9 kills in the last week; null http://eve.battleclinic.com/killboard/combat_record.php?type=player&name=Keith%20Deteisrich
Isn't that sort of good?

My two Pence worth to go with all the other helpful advice form more experience players then me, is to set a long term goal to your Eve career, and have a series of mini goals between you and your main objective, and slowy work towrds each one.
It's what I'm doing in a 13 phase progess career.

I feel your pain, I used to be like you but without the mass isk making. I know people that have joined our corperation that just salvage the stuff i leave behind when ratting to make isk as they cannot PVE due to skills.
Im a regular player, i play after work for about 5-6 hours and during this time im really busy doing the following : - Ratting (easy 100m an hour) - Joining fleet ops - Solo roaming - Sorting out logistics - Finding out awesome stuff i can buy :D
To be honest ive got to the point where to train a skill it takes 15+ days for any of them with +4's in, but i don't even realise the time fly by cause i don't play for skills, i play for ISK and PVP. Skills are minor in this game when you have the basics sorted out such as : Can fly a PVP ship fully equiped (tech I or II) Can fly a BS/BC to PVE
Once you have them two things all other skills are just bonuses
About sec status, it means nothing, i can get to 5.0 from 0.0 in null sec in a week if i hardcored it, but unless you leave JITA 4-4 there is no reason to gain sec status.
So after all this, what have we learnt?
Join a 0.0 corperation/alliance and watch the whole of eve come to your door with tons of extra stuff to do...

I've seen the characters for sale on eBay and it seemed off that people were selling a paperclip with a free character. So the Bazaar on here is where you can buy one?
To me buying a character sort of defeats any sense of achievement cause the killboard stats go to that character that someone else created, instead of becoming successful on your own.
Another dead end.

Skillpoints are an asset, just like isk or ships. Some don't like the idea, but trading up to a higher SP character (and skipping years of training) is a good idea. It's a way for newer players who are driven or skilled at the game to gain the one advantage that is toughest to get; skill points.
If you buy a character with your own isk you are very much successful on your own. Reputation is an asset too like any other, and a 10m SP character won't be losing much of it ;)

That's an interesting way of looking at it. I wonder if you can buy a character on here and redo the avatar and rename it yourself? Now I can see that putting a personal touch on it and from that day forward any achievements would be yours I suppose. Just not the past of the character.
Well, I've got just under 9 million SP which doesn't seem to amount for much ability. I'm really surprised that someone could spend 6 months of real game play and still not be able to do much of anything.
So maybe just buying a character does make more sense.. Still kinda seems like cheating though...
