was playing on the game yesterday minding my own business when I warped into an roid field. I got clustered by 4 cruisers I think it was. Before I realized it I was warp scramble and I couldn't go any faster than 150m/s. With 4 cruisers blowing missiles at me from 5km I desperately tried anything. Got the strongest down to 15% health but I was totalled. Escape was the only alternative so I hit the eject button. Went back to station and logged after the loss of my ship. Today I come back online with messages from people. My ship has been floating in space all that time with several missiles orbitting it. With some energy & shield transfer with help from Zeta, Gun Kata and Calisarius. I flew out in my pod (almost attacked by someone until they were scared off). And finally boarded my ship surrounded my invincible missiles. I warped directly to base with only 6% structure. My ship saved. Amazing. It's been sat there since yesterday too. I'm so pleased I got it back, wasn't fair how I died. :(

Same happened to me but under different circumstances!
I was fighting pirates in a very difficult area and, after being targetted by 4 Moa pirates, Eve decided to crash to BSOD.
Upon rebooting and frantically logging on I discovered my Moa was down to 6% armour and 21% hull - and somehow the guns I'd started firing were still firing when the game crashed - two of the pirates were almost dead and I killed the other two before warping out.
I only wish I'd remmebered to grab the loot before warping :(
As it is, I had to spend the next 10 minutes with my hull and armour repairers equipped and making noises like the Jaws theme tune.............

how we supposed to know what's a bug and what's not a bug. imo my ship was never actually destroyed. since I ejected before it was. we just had time to power transfer and energy transfer it, board and get the hell out of there. the missiles are still stuck in the systems. I think that's a bug but I'm off to bed now - I'll report them tomorrow.

I fought 4 NPC pirate cruisers some days ago and came too close. I decided to run and abandoned my 2 left Hammerheads.
After i have repaired my ship i came back to the belt, i found my two Hammerheads which have killed all pirates (which left some nice lot :)

Yesterday I was killing rats in a roid field(3 imps, 1 depred)... and server node went down! I tried to relog fast as I could, got in, warped my ship out of there soon as i spawned... definitely my closest near-death experience in EVE... 0.3% structure!!! ______________

Lynn, you wouldn't believe the luck of Thorax pilots who can set combat drones to fight and then warp away to safety while the drones shoot **** up.
My Moa has sucky drone space!
