Edited by: CCP Loktofeit on 09/12/2010 15:28:42 The stats of the Echelon are fairly equal to an average T1 frigate, except that it can only fit one module and no rigs. The module itself is similar to a T1 codebreaker, except it has twice the range and an eight-second cycle time.

Very nice.
I look forward to seeing the stats on this. Is it too much to ask that it'd be on the Sansha's 'ignore list'...? lol
(Also hoping an equivalent T1 ship will emerge in time, that uses this groovy mesh)

Does that mean if we're in an alliance owned station we cannot redeem this ship?

Great !
Here's to hoping it'll find its way to Concords new LP store
It really sounds like a ship that will be useful and also bound to have a high turnover, hehe

So, when can we expect this model to be made into a more useful ship instead of a gimped freebie? You all actually used the art assets you created for the Primae to make the Noctis; when do we get to see something good from this as opposed to a waste of artists' time? :p

Will BPC's be in the Concord LP store or a new model come out later? Perhaps in the LP Store?

Really nice ship... but something that will never see space, just like the primae*, zephyr etc. which is a damn shame.
*I made a suggestion about a salvaging ship using the primae hull, which was responded to by CCP hinting they already had the same idea, before the noctis was revealed. If anyone has a really good idea on how to use the zephyr and now the echelon hulls for a useful mass produced ship, give it a shot.

That makes me wonder what possible use this could have. You wouldn't be able to find normal radar sites with it, or even run them if they had one rat there.
Some new feature to deal with incursions? A frigate with one module doesn't seem to make too much sense with how nasty those sites are.
Sounds like the usual hangar dust collector so far, but I do like the design.

Nice art, although the bubbly canopy is quite useless while the pilot is in a pod, and seriously useless.
At least the Zephyr and Primae could see some limited use, but who's going to use a slow frig with no tank and just one near-T2 strenght hacking module in real sites? A standard EA frig (Hyena to say one) can do much better than this as far as hacking chances are concerned, and survivability due to tank and speed are infinitely better. Dear devs, I think you still have time to think about a decent slot layout, or at least to give ti useful stats. --- --- ---
