Vieve Creston DED	Posted - 2010.12.09 18:36:00 - [1] This transmission is being relayed in response to continual requests for certain information regarding the status of the Jove Empire, and the Sansha presence recorded in the Directorate system of 3-CE1R some months ago. Some facts need to be made clear, and some of the more misleading and fruitless speculation needs to be put to rest. Members of the Inner Circle, alongside representatives from all four empires, have concluded a months-long investigation and verified the following: The Prosper Vault in 3-CE1R is no longer threatened and has been confirmed as re-secured. Nothing of value was stored in the Prosper Vault, and therefore, nothing of value was taken. As can be easily seen, 3-CE1R is a system on the edge of Directorate space, and it was this remoteness that attracted the Sansha fleets to that specific location. The Nation's intentions in 3-CE1R remain unknown, but whatever their goal may have been, it was not achieved. The wormhole generator, discovered yesterday to be a unique device, is also undoubtedly of Sansha origin. With this information now released, it is the hope of myself and the rest of Taskforce Ishaeka, that the capsuleer resistance can more easily focus on real threats, and substantive leads. Many among the capsuleers feel that CONCORD is being needlessly enigmatic and non-committal with their support of our anti-Sansha efforts. However, the fact remains that the interstellar map database lists 3-CE1R as the headquarters of the Jovian Directorate; a system you claim is "remote" and presumably not well defended. Is this a simple database error and the Jovian home system is somewhere else? Or is this a smoke-and-mirror deception to draw us away from the true nature of the threat?

This includes, among many other things, modifications to the data made available on their regions. It is of the utmost importance to maintain the secrecy of these and other such countermeasures, and no further information can or will be divulged regarding this matter. Suffice it to say, 3-CE1R is a headquarters only in name - a fact the Nation itself failed to grasp, until far too late.

If stuff is missing we can fill you in later. The question remains how do you know 3-CER1 is re-secured? is there DED task force currently in system? This "Prosper Vault" you say nothing of value was taken but you can't confirm the validity of these reports, mroe disclosure is needed Ms Creston. We appreciate what Taskforce ISHAEKA is doing but more answers are needed. The technology for this "wormholes generator" was taken from somewhere which means Kuvakei and his fleet stole something of value. It may not seem like anything important to us but the Jovian knowledge is just as dangerous. The sansha got that information some how Creston. Maybe a certain Admiral Ouria is still alive perhaps? And that your own personnel believe that this station and the implication of the Sansha being in control of it was extremely significant? And during all of this. . . the station was completely empty of any Jovian technology, which as a matter of fact they've left strewn all over the cosmos while their empire shrunk? My thinking is that of the countless people they took before incursion, should they come upon a quantum physics genius, to they wipe him or use him? They may have stolen the people who would otherwise have designed the generator for us.

Indeed, if the intent was to invite fear, rampant speculation and fruitless investigations, then their aim was more than achieved, and with assistance I might add, in the form of an extreme delay in the provision of these facts. I suspect this investigation was even more thorough than our own, so I can personally forgive it, having some experience with these things, but others will not be so understanding. In any case, I hope this brings the focus you desire, Creston, but you have some faith to rebuild.

Even if that is so, it is a bitter pill to swallow. I'm sure some tribal leader will soon also express his support for the tale. Yet you must admit, even if it was true - you can hardly fault the doubters. After all, the "security measure" of mislabeling the Jove headquarters is and indirect admission of at the very least strategic misinformation.
