I'm trying to figure out which items I want to produce and I can't seem to find anywhere how long it takes to copy a blueprint. I mean I could purchase a BPO plug it in a copy slot and find out that way, I'm sure, but I want to know this before I actually spend the money on the BPO. Is there a way to find out? Some website perhaps? |

Look up the BPO in the Market, click Show Info and under Researching there should be a Research Copy Time and Research Copy Time (You per Single Run) values. |

As I understand it that means how long it will take to research (improve) the copy time on the BPO? The same way you can improve ME and PE? I'm trying to figure out the actual copy time, though... |

Troll.
If not, ignorant.
First reply tells you where to look yet you disagree if thats the case then don't come to the forum to ask stuff.
Show info and the it will tell you almost every possible timer you can have on a bpo. Inject your skillbook before you leave the station. Neo didnGÇÖt learn Kung-Fu by having it sit in his usb drive.-á If it moves, shoot it. If it doesn't move, poke it with your gun and then shoot it. You can't improve copy time. Research Copy Time per single run means the time you can make a 1 run copy. |

Oh.. I see. I got confused on the wording there. Hm, so that time is for 1 copy per 1 run. How does it scale with number of runs and copies? Say, I want 2 copies of 1run BP, then it's obviously twice the amount, right? But, if I want 1 copy by to have 2runs on it, does it also double the time? |

Yes. The time is per copy, regardless of how many BPC's the copies are split between. You'll need a separate job for each BPC, though, so if you want 2 1-run BPCs you'll have to start two different jobs. If you had two BPO's they could be run in parallel. If not, you'll have to do them one after the other. |

not true. When copying you get two options:
Number of copies: Runs per copy:
you can do any combination of numbers in these two fields provided that: 1. the total job time is not >30 days* 2. the "runs per copy" is not more than the limit of licensed runs you can make (e.g. 30 for a frigate).
*caveat to this rule is you can ALWAYS make one (1) 1-run copy. |

You got my tiny little brain confused again..
Say a BPO says Research Copy Time for me is 1 minute, is the following correct?
10 copies, 1run each = 10minutes. 1 copy, 10runs = 10minutes. 10 copies, 10runs each = 20minutes. |

Close, it's multiplicative though.
10 copies, 10 runs = 100 minutes |

Note that there are TWO copy time numbers on a BPO:
* Research copy time = Time to make a max run copy without adjusting for Science skill
* Research Copy Time (you) = Time to make a single run copy with adjusting for Science skill
