I got a 23rd personal effect from running my 1st 10/10 last night, had several deadspace baddies, like seargents, not 1 deadspace loot or commander spawn, so wondering what is your average, how many times have you run 10/10s and how many good spawns/how good was loot?, did you ever get an officer spawn?
Was a very relaxed way tho, to earn the 150-200mil, so that's covered

The Maze doesn't have any faction ships those pith officers or w/e they are called are just regular battleships. I have found that about 75% of the time the rated DED plex's only drop the overseers effects. Also commander spawns are only from belt ratting you will never get them doing exploration.

False. Commander (faction) spawns are quite common in non-ded rated sites. Were you thinking officers? That is also false, as they can also spawn in Grav sites.
Anomolies also have a chance to either escalate to a complex or give faction spawns.
In general though, officer spawns are from belts. I wouldn't really expect to see them in grav sites, but it does happen.

Ah thx for clearing up the language I thought that officer=commander.

Edited by: Spectre Wraith on 14/12/2010 23:32:08 Generally speaking, faction spawns are referred to as commanders and officers, while commanders, are referred to as officers. They're faction spawns but unique.
If you're doing complexes, don't expect to see officers. Faction and complex commanders, specific commanders within a complex, are what you'll be seeing. Within DED rated sites you'll find the complex specific commanders(xxx overseer) and in unrated named complexes you'll find the faction commanders(true sansha, etc).
If you aren't sure if something's a true commander, their wrecks show up on Dscan as "xxx size commander wreck".
Edit - If you want officers, you'll only find them in NPC Sov nullsec belts (occasionally grav sites).

Once and only once i had a 10/10 drop just under 3 billion worth of stuff.
All x type hardners and a x type large armor rep.
I think the drop rate is higher than 50% though I ran a lot of 10/10 and most of the time there is a drop. Sansha space anyway.
