If you reprocess the Purloined Sansha Codebreaker, you get a Mangled Sansha Codebreaker with the following description:
"This is still nearly recognizable as a Purloined Sansha Codebreaker, but attempting to reprocess it has left it broken yet still more-or-less intact. It's possible that running it through the reprocessor a second time will yield better results."
Anyone taken the next reprocessing step yet? --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I've been away for a while now, is this a normal occurrence when attempting to reprocess something special or is this unique to the item? ______________________________________________

1x Badly Mangled Components 1x Codebreaker 1 1x True Slave Decryption Node
edit/awesome, the True Slave node:
Functionally, this piece of hardware - obviously of Sansha origin - is an extremely sophisticated parallel processing unit. Connecting it to a standard interface bus and running a few diagnostics reveals that it has been configured to act as the master node for a quasi-distributed decryption system, and its response rate suggests that it's exceptionally efficient at this task.
It is, however, difficult to ignore the fact that it's also a head in a jar - particularly when it opens its eyes briefly, looks around, and frowns.

You know what else it odd? Try using the codebreaker on various things:
18:22:37 Notify You cannot activate a Purloined Sansha Codebreaker on a Caldari Customs Commissioner.
18:21:31 Notify You cannot activate a Purloined Sansha Codebreaker on a Stargate (Caldari Constellation).
No suprise... but then, using on a random badger:
18:22:13 Notify You cannot do that. The module you use on the Industrial needs to have the following in its skill requirements: Caldari Industrial.
Drake:
18:23:39 Notify You cannot do that. The module you use on the Battlecruiser needs to have the following in its skill requirements: Caldari Cruiser and Battlecruisers.

It might not be too far from the mark if the true slave's head was 10 feet tall, but still good call :3

ugh so this is what is happening to the captured and "uplifted" civilians. how macabre.
and every single capsuleer has a head in a jar of his or her own tucked away inside these things. What did CONCORD know and when did they know it... |

And a +1 for me as well!
Hiding information in the parts you can find by reprocessing a storyline item is just some cool idea! Congrats Devs!
Even though in this case the truth it hides is quite ugly ... /me shudders We already knew that Sanshas make use of such "technology" but that Concord does use it too ... (even if it is lobotomized Sansha tech).
Thankx for sharing that info!

I were wondering why the codebreaker was a module by itself and not integrated into the ship like the probe launcher is in the Zephyr. Now I know why.

+1 for item descriptions, CCP. And +5 for the banter to reprocess the Mangled Codebreaker again :)
