Hi just hoping for a little help/advice if possible
The corp im currently with is about to go to war with a rather large corp and was wondering which is the better type of ship to run around in? I know each ship has its good and bad but just looking for general
I can fly Cardari assault frigs, battlecruisers, cruisers and thatĘs about it, just wondering which of the above would be best?
Kind of leaning towards the BC as good armour and good damage but any other suggestions would be great , pros and cons would be nice to if possible
Thanks

Ferox is ment to be fun. But there is no best ship its more a case of using it effectively. - - - - - - - - -

Well, there are basically two chooses, dependant on your dispostion.
1. Whatever you can fit a couple of warp core stabs in without ruining your setup.
2. Whatever you kick the most behind with.
(Go 2! Go 2!)
Being slightly more helpful: ferox for survivability, caracal for disposability, blackbird to get nasty

You could armour tank a ferox and use the mid slots for jamming (5 multi freqs will jam anything). Lots of missiles and nos + good jamming ability is great fun. -----------------------------

BB is pretty much the only cruiser on a battlefield that really makes me worry - used efffectively it can lock down 2-3 BS by cycling/pop-jamming.
Bein relatively cheap, they're a great choice for flying in PvP

As you don't mention what amounts of corpmates you can expect to be able to fly with at any given time, I'll work off 2 scenarios:
1) You log on, and you're alone. Assuming the other side has plenty of people online, as per your description of them as rather large.
Suggestion: go guerilla. A lone battleship can cause massive havoc, true, but it's also pretty slow, and very, very vulnerable. Fly something you are ready to lose is always a solid suggestion. Caracal, perhaps? Ferox is also a possibility. A BB alone is not much good for downing anything biger than inties, and as I've seen a bb get shredded by an assault frigate...well...Let's put it this way: TJ'ing someone from a bb is not neccesarily enough to kill them ;)
so, Crow for guerilla warfare would be an idea. Harpy, perhaps, that way you can also take down anything up to cruiser-sized...if you do it right, of course :)
2) You have friends online: Gather a hunting party. The Blackbird suddenly becomes a real option. As far as support ships for the hitters go, I'd never turn down a bb to help me =)
Ferox could be a nice choice, you can do some heavy damage in one of those. only things you'd want to run away from would be assault cruisers and battleships. Personally, I'd be wary if I saw a Crow screeching down towards my BC, with 10 hostiles in locals...bt what's EVE about, if not the occasional adrenaline-packed combat? Crow if you're going to be on tackling duty. Harpy for taking down the other side's tacklers.
And if all else fails, suicide them in a Kestrel. :p
