Webs! The navy doesn't scram, but it sure can web. This actually speeds up travel through enemy hi sec.
Thanks CCP for another broken component of FW.

If you don't like it go make your own game.
Everything you say is wrong and everything you post is ignorant.
Your ideas suck, and you spam the forums with them on a daily basis.
Still happy to know the world isn't ending yet though.

If what he says it true, then his complaint has merit. It is considered a dumb mistake in player PvP when web activates before scramble. If CCP programmed navy ships to make dumb mistakes all the time, it is bad.
Either give them scramble or don't use web at all.

they have scram they just use Webs first purposely to allow you a few seconds to escape if you just made a wrong turn or something (It happens when you're new, trust me :P)

If that was done on purpose, I'd really want to slap the person responsible, hard. That is not what EVE is about.

It's definitely done on purpose. The navies aren't there to keep opposite-faction players away ù they're there to supplement same-faction player forces and give them some additional AI firepower.
It's up to players to keep other players out of space where they "don't belong" for one reason or another. ùùù ôIf you're not willing to fight for what you have in ≡v≡à you don't deserve it, and you will lose it.ö ù Karath Piki |

Edited by: Emperor Cheney on 23/12/2010 02:02:33 Getting enemy highsec kills under the NPC navy guns is the most fun I've had in this game.
It's tougher, but at the same time they never expect it. And even though on the surface it's a gank, a single enemy t1 frigate could kill anyone in your gang if they showed up, because the faction navy hits hard.
There are, however, ways to skip the enemy faction navy entirely. That's something CCP should address, or at least declare either legit or an exploit in a clear fashion.

I'm willing to accept the idea that warp scrambling navy is too much for today's softy PvPer. In that case, AI needs to be reprogrammed not to apply web on unscrambled ships. As it is now, the navys work for the enemy - by allowing the enemy faster escape, preventing legitimate player tackles.
AI should not assist the enemy, that's the bottom line.

Sounds good, but on the list of Things That are Broken About Faction Warfare, that's not even in the top 10.
