Hi all!
The Mission is called "Murder brought to justice", a simple kill mission, one target given. The funny part about it is the last line of what my agent said:
"I would even rate him close to the despicable m0o corporation when it comes to crime."
I already got that twice, m0o being the only corp referenced... Anyone knows something about this? How much did m0o pay? Did they threaten to pod AND wtfpwn the devs over and over and over?

mOo become such a good pirate corp that the DEVs decided to use thier corp name in the story aspect of the game. -----------------

m0o was the first truly notorious pirate organization in EVE. They camped the Lonetrek region for ages, haunting the Passari to Mara corridor. Due to their severe campage in empire space, they once earned a visit from a crew of the GMs, who played in the guise of CONCORD captains who had enough of the pirating. The GMs took in a fleet of CONCORD BS's and obliterated the m0o BS fleet This was before the AI CONCORD fleet would attack you in empire space if you attacked another pilot. Boy, m0o pitched quite the fit over it. Like they couldn't afford to replace their fleet 10x over at the time

Yeah, that one's a nice touch. Gives the game a bit different feel when you have references to actual player run corps in places like that. Granted, that's about the only one I've seen so far (and it probably took m0o a whole lotta looting & pillaging to get there).

This part is not true; however the GM's once moved (I can not remember in which incident) a few m0o pilots to a random 0.0 system down south. Unfourtunatly the system was not empty, by chance there were a few other players peacfully mining in the same system... GM's are known to be a bit more carefull when resolving crisis situations nowdays...

i don't think that if mOo came back that they would stand much of a chance against CONCORD because they just blow u up as soon as u shoot and won't be able to survive

Actually, it was done a while ago, before the criminal flagging system was implemented. I think it was m0o that time as well. They brought an Apoc to Yulai or some such system and began shooting at whatever flew by. There was a small fleet of ships constantly feeding the Apoc with shield and cap energy so it would never die while Concord shot at it. Then the Apoc started blasting Concord ships by the dozens.
Well, this is probably not a very good account of the actual story, but I remember that it happened roughly like that. Then a while later the criminal flagging system was implemented, so that anyone helping a criminal would be flagged as a criminal as well by Concord.

Yeah, I remeber that. Wasn't m0o though, it was the killer clowns. Think CCP considered it an exploit and some bans were handed out. It's cool that some of the history and events are player added 'content'.

That corp was Zombie Inc. and a killer clown was only recording it. I was there. I got killed. I only received a t-shirt for it ---------------------------------------------

Alright, I had a hunch it may not have been m0o, but I knew it was one of these famous pirate corps :)
