*Gasp* Thanks for mentioning my tool .. Must say I really wasn't expecting that at all.
I'd like to drop by the link to the forum thread for pyfa in case there's any questions though: http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=1424096

Just one thing to note CCP. Users should not be forced to update their avatars the first time they log in after the patch. The reason for this is that lots of people will re-subscribe for this. They'll be wanting to set a skill training first and then they'll want to take their sweet time in playing with the avatar creator. If you force them to create an avatar first they won't explore it as much as they'd like because their primary worry will be setting a skill training as soon as possible.

Was it really necessary to publish yet another blog/news piece/email sending me links to sodding youtube videos of the character creator?
I am aware that it is coming out. I'm sure it will be awesome. If I was really that desperate to see it I would have tried it on sisi by now. I'm sure that there is something else from the community you could be showcasing instead.
I am feeling comprehensively marketed at.

Just click no when you log in when it is asking you to update the character.

Awesome feature we get to use once... and never see again. ETA on when that mystery expansion will come out where we get to see the feature again?

Seconded. We've all been seeing this for months. It's not news or even very interesting.

Edited by: Jason Edwards on 31/12/2010 09:04:24 ccp why if you were to turn on advanced camera option. Then set parent and interest. The camera sways like crazy. Seemingly no way to turn that sway off.
Very noticeable in the Jita4/4 vid I linked. ------------------------ To make a megathron from scratch, you must first invent the eve universe.

Assuming we create our new body and face next incursion release; will we be able to recreate them again when incarna arrives further down the line?

Strongly doubt it. Thats why they better let us totally recreate our characters, with new sex, race and bloodline, because I dont like the new Gallente Intaki! Heck, the only choice for long hair is rasta style!

I enjoyed the new character creation tool. It does looks very life like and adds a bit of emersion that adds to the game. However, who wears the same clothing all the time, till the end of time? No one! Suggestion, we create our avatar's body once. But then allow us to change its cloths and accessories whenever. Here are a few more suggestions that could work into incarna. Sell cloths in station (for isk). Since we now have full body avatars, in the hanger have our full body avatar standing at a console in the foreground presumably changing the fit to the hull in the background. Here is a real world marketing idea. A few of the jackets I saw in the SISI test sever looked pretty tough and I'd be interested in purchasing one in real life. IDK, maybe there wouldn't be the volume to make that last one worth it .. just tossing it out there. My god .. it's full of stars ! |

you wont be able to recreate them though theirs rumors that some corps may be able to run "plastic surgury" wings if they have the equipment own a store etc, along with clothing shows owned by corps etc... or thats the rumors of what incarna will bring...
personally this REALLLLLLLLLLLLLYYYYYYYYYYY gets me excited for incarna and wish a billion times over we'd get a damn release date or timeframe!
one thing did i miss is their no ways to make the female boozums bigger? or wider hips ets is it just weight and muscularity????? this seems MAJORLY a draw back from making unique looking female characters, the male characters can get away with this generalism but females have much more variety to their looks.

Why do the amarr males still look fking old?
With the ageing option set to young you can't get rid of those creases around the mouth and nose. Even with changing the face structure. |
