Vendetta Online needs more players ... ;-)
How to PVP: 1. buy ISK with GTCs, 2. fit cloak, learn aggro mechanics, 3. buy second account for metagaming

imho SW:TOR had a good chance of getting a decent player base. This is because they will focus a lot on story, and Bioware is extremely good at this. Also its a star wars game that isn't SWG(since it went to hell after NGE) so its bound to have a few people no matter what.
i can also see GW2 doing some damage being that its free and it introduces some new concepts into the mmo world.
i don't see either of these taking out EVE however, because neither one is the same genre.

Depending on how the current "User Generated Content" initiative goes I wouldn¦t count Trek Online out quite yet. Their Devs are very aware of the deficiencies and working tirelessly on it.

That Infinity game looks like it could compete. That is, if it's finished (probably won't happen until the next decade, if it's getting released at all). But the concept of the game looks promising. ___________________________________________ CEO of Deep Space Constructions --WEBSITE UNDER CONSTRUCTION-- |

On a more serious note, the game is a build upon Tribes 2 by the same people that run "Global Agenda". It's not really that much of a MMO, but more of a series of FPS servers wrapped in a soft MMO-like connective tissue. _
