I have a good block of ammo that I picked or bough, close to 5000. How do I skim off the top and spread around to my other ships? I don't wanna just haul a block of 13,000(eh, it was on sale ) around and lose it?
The only way I see to do it is to load in to a fitting then eject it, thats stupid!!! That's only 80 to 200 at a time. |

Hold "shift" and "drag" with mouse. I'm surprised the "Rookie Help" tab didn't clarify this to you. |

- scale up the chat window a bit - if needed click the "A+" topleft of the window to up the font size - click "show text only" just right of that A+ - top right side of the window, click "hide member list"
That should help make it more readable, the rest is all about paying attention. I've been in the help channels for more than 5 years giving out advice and if I can keep up at my old age then anyone can :)

Additionally you can try other channels where newcomers always can expect to find some help. For example, "E-Uni" channel. |

Plus I have my screen set to min resolution so I was just fighting for space on my HUD.

you can also load the whole stack into a shuttle, if its larger then 10m3 bubble pops up with how much you can put into the cargo space and you just change amount to suit you, then transfer over to other ship. |

Shift-drag is the most efficient way to facilitate this, as previously mentioned. |

From what I can find, it seems not all items had it on the context menu, and instead of fixing it, it was removed.
The last mention of it in patch notes is:
Patch Notes for Inferno 1.1 wrote:Unified Inventory
* The option to Split Stack from the contextual menu when right clicking a stack in a Player Owned Structure has been removed. This option never functioned and should not have been displayed. Shift dragging stacks will still allow the user to separate stacks. The right click option should only be available in stations. It did exist at one time though:
Patch Notes for Dominion 1.1 wrote:Inventory
* The "Split Stack" menu option is again available in your personal hangar and a corporation's station hangar. |
