Get all your members into cheap, disposable ships (battlecruisers etc) and use the whole thing as a learning experience. Will almost certainly be the best fun you've ever had as a corp.
Failing that, just dockup and smacktalk on CAOD.

Get everyone in your corp on at the same time. Have everyone log on any alts they have also. Sit in cheap throw away cruisers and battle cruisers at a gate into a system with only one exit (aka...choke point). If you don't have enough people to lag the system out you need to recruit more.
In the event you can't recruit enough people to lag out the system. Do the above and when the enemy jumps in try to kill as many as possible. Even if you lose it'll be a blast and cost the enemy isk.

Edited by: General Windypops on 04/01/2011 00:06:01 I will gladly run your military defence every evening for a month. These guys will be a piece of **** to fight (not necessarily to win all battles, but to make it utterly worthless for them to continue the war), you will bring your corpmates together like never before and you'll have a whole lot of fun. For 2bn isk I'll produce a battlecruser / cruiser / frig fleet of ships for you and FC for you every evening within reason. Tip over 200m now and I'll draw up some plans for you overnight.

Edited by: Headerman on 04/01/2011 01:16:18 Ask TEST, Goons, Dead terrorists or Morhus Mihi if they would war Dec eve uni for u.
I for one would enjoy seeing nubs die to a 400 man alpha fleet :P
On a serious note though, usally it's best to keep in station and don't undock, unless u are feeling suicidal.
If you don't know what u are doing and u have to undock, ALWAYS stay on station to dock up. Don't slowboat anywhere, period.

Edited by: MynChu NicAtoch on 04/01/2011 08:58:20 The first and last rule you need to understand is that there are no fair fights in eve.
Although bluff is often used to great effect, you seem to have done enough research to convince yourself that the threat is real and the danger immediate. That is sufficient - do not participate further in their game content as its all about entertaining them and not about entertaining you.
You cannot win. You cannot compete. Attempting to gain game content from this will lose you members, and affect your corps interest in the game.
They will use their numbers, skillpoints, game mechanics and understanding of aspects of eve you didn't even know existed to ensure that THEY maximize their fun at your expense.
Ignore them - do not even log in with them in local.
You have three characters on each account .. take this opportunity to use the ones not in your main corp and play them instead.
If they were really looking to make a "game" of this, they would have wardec'd somone better or bigger than them - a good corp or alliance they could pit their skills against and enjoy the contest. They didn't. They are simply looking to bully you. Leave them to it.

Thanks for posting your opinions.
We cannot spend 2 Bn for mercenaries. Actually 2Bn is the price of them to leave us alone, but we do not want to be blackmailed. Whats next... 5Bn...10Bn?
Playing sitting duck on station is the easiest, but pretty boring. How long would that take? They could stop us from the game for month.
:( However, we will see how this ends.

Have everyone fly t1 frigates and cruisers cheap fit it for ganks.
Go for high value ships like a hac or recon and rush it with your fleet. Gank that 1 guy and lose t1 stuff will hurt them more then you.
Consider he had to pay 100m for the ship another 30m for mods when you spent 7m for ship and 2m for mods.
You will learn alot from this like doing hit and runs. If you cant win a fight dont fight at all . Also someone said use nuet logi try that out.

TL;DR: Get your members in frigates. Fit a jam, web, scram or sensor dampener to each. Fit afterburners or MWD's, but keep it cheap. When all hell breaks loose, Ewar the **** out of a target and blow it up. Then, explode hilariously yourself and cackle like a maniac. Even if all of you get blown to space dust, you probably inflicted more damage it was worth. Rinse, repeat.

It's not only effective but fun. Get yourself out of the losing ships is a bad thing mentality.

Do not pay ransoms, as you suspect it will lead only to future demands.
Longest war I was in lasted 8 weeks against two corps. I don't want to discourage you but just being honest. It was also our first wars.
Personally most likely you can't match the guys ship to ship. Your best bet is to fit out some t1 frigates and cruisers. Don't waste em if you don't have the isk though. Wait til you catch 1 or 2 by himself then hit him.
Otherwise use the time to train skills and stay in station, depending on their tz coverage they might not be able to cover 24 hours and you can sneak out for an hour or two (maybe more a day)
Generally such wars concentrate on chokepoints and main mission/trade hubs. Move away from the best agent stations might enable you to do a few things, but you'd have to watch local closely. This probably will not work for anyone already on a killboard, as they can use locator agents to find those, those should assemble at main hubs and just train skills sit in station logged on to bore the heck out the war declarers.
With any hope it'll only take a week for them to move on. But be wary they could have a spy in your corp which could really harm those moving around, those seeking to mission/rat etc away from main areas probably should keep their plans to themselves to increase safety or to their most trusted confidants.
Thoughts expressed are mine and mine alone. They do not necessarily reflect my alliances thoughts.

Now is a good time to adopt a fleet doctrine for your corp. Take your pic:
Alphafleet with tanked Scorpions and arty Maelstroms
Drakefleet with...drakes..
RRBSfleet wtih (preferably armor) battleships that have cap injectors and 2 RR mods. Dominix can do all this and is dirt cheap to boot compared to other BS. (get it? boot?)
Reach out to other corps to see if you can have them give you logi support when fighting on station. You get repped and they get killrights if they get shot at, which lets them join the fight. |

Just enjoy it man, 2 weeks after I started paying/playing this game the corp I was in was war deced for 3months, I learned a lot in that time and it was probably one of the most fun times in eve I have ever had.
As people have already said use it as a time to learn, loose ships, blow up ships and smack talk you won't regret it ;)

Tier 1 RR BSs are good fun... Typhoons, Domis, Geddons... all armour tank and all can RR well enough. If they are flying anything apart from minmatar or drakes, neut the crap out of them for some lols while u rep each other.
Rifter fleets are also a good option.
