just a quick question guys.
I was wondering if the negotiation skill has any impact on loyalty points gained.

Yes, it increases the quality of the agent which increases the isk and LP rewards. I believe it also increases the standing gain slightly, but I don't have proof of that.

it also increases RPs per day as research is effectively a "mission" that never ends

ItÆs the connection skills you want. Each division has two that add 5% to LP per level, so 50% increase with both at 5/5. Below are the books, so look at each and see which division they influence. Well worth it when you start on the lvl 4 missions
Bureaucratic Financial High Tech Labor Military Political Trade

i invested the sp from lvl2 to lvl3 of the negotiation skill, and there was no change in lp gain.
the highest i was gaining was 5741 lp and it is still the same.
btw is 5741 lp considered acceptable for lvl4 missions?
my agent is a lvl4 internal security, located in high-sec.

Edited by: Goran Grafth on 06/01/2011 20:42:18 The bggest thing you can do to increase LP and isk is to get agents in lower security systems. 0.5 and 0.6 systems will give you higher amounts of both than 0.9 and 1.0 systems.
Same if you go in low-sec or null sec. More LP and isk. Doesn't hurt to have social skills to 4/5 either.

Tip of the day. When you ask a question and somebody gives an answer, take the time to read it
2nd tip of the day. Look at Item Database û Skills û Social û each of the connection books I listed. They say which division they influence
As you donÆt yet have any LP gaining skills set, this is not a bad starting point for a 6hr mission. At 4/4 and with varied agents and sec status, IÆve received approximately 5900, 6700 & 7600

thank you for your advice.
I already have connection skills for internal security at lvl5 (bureaucratic + military). I had years to take a look at the social tab and when i discovered negotiation skill i got concerned that all this time i was losing tons of lp for not having it trained.
As it seems negotiation skill does not affect lp gain from agents.
My highest ever lp gain is 5741 and the numbers you listed are much higher which leaves me wondering how i will be able to achieve such numbers.

This is true. The Negotiation skill will improve agent effective quality. The higher it is, better missions will be offered. That will indirectly help increase the amount of LP's gained.
Connections skills directly improves the amount of LP's gained.

Afaik there is a cap on how much LP a given agent can give out, depending on agent quality and system security. 5741 is probably the highest LP you will get from your particular agent regardless of the skills you have. For more LP you will likely have to go to a different agent with either a) higher quality or who b) lives in a system with lower sec status.
