To be more specific. The 4.25% payout is based on a 1 mil ISK share price.

Lots of these shares up for sale, throughout the past few months. Something about to go down?

Well the MD audit fund is closing down, so I figured I would sell them and return the donations instead of being a **** and keeping the ISK.

There are over 50 shareholders, and they have been going for 30 months so it is likely people will want to make changes to their portfolio.
They are also trading on the BSAC exchange.

Bid: 1000 shares at 1.01 MISK per share.
Also, I am curious to know why you chose these particular auction mechanics over other mechanics, e.g., all winners paying the lowest winning bid price. á á

Probably because he likes money. And likes having the most he can get.
This mechanic maximizes his receipts from selling these shares.

While true, it also avoids the same problems as doing dutch auctions for interest rates, where 99% of the people go for 0% interest to be guaranteed a spot.
Also updated post 3 with current high bidders.

It will maximize the receipts from among the winning bids at the end of the auction, so in that sense it will maximize receipts, but the choice of mechanism also has an effect during the course of the auction.
The present mechanism encouraged me to bid up a minimum increment (since I want to avoid the perception of over-paying) instead of immediately bidding my maximum price (which I would have considered doing under the mechanism to which I linked). á á

Most people are going to be more worried about missing these shares than paying the minimum. I only say this because I perceive the demand to be of an order of magnitude higher than the number of shares Breaker is bringing to market.

Possibly, but I was considering giving some of these as a bonus to some people who have invested in me for several years.
Yes, sounds secretive, but what I do with my own investments is my own business. I have told you what I do as a member of the BSAC BoD.
Remember - all virtual shares on the Exchange are created from deposited shares - any CEO can confirm that the appropriate number of shares are held by BSAC. --
