When CCP says jump, I jump.
Not really. Loyal? To a game? A company? Preposterous.

Haters will always hate. They don't even need a reason, any random stuff may let flow their hate.
Personally, I think CCP are heros in the MMO industry and I'm very confident about EVE's path.
Forums are pretty much like a magic-eye picture.
Allways going to give you a headache?

Even though I don't like the direction eve development has taken at the expense of older but quite popular content(FW etc etc) that desperately needs a thorough fleshing out I still think CCP are one of the best game developers around for any gaming genre. Hell this new incursion mechanic might even convince me to resub and retask some time to it if it has the positive effect on FW that I think it will.
I mean plexing with rewards. Whodathunkit..

You
I thought you were dead!
Never shoulda trusted a Gallente to deal with you...
I personally can't wait for the new PVE in Incursions and really hope it also comes with some solo content. The lack of good non AFK PVE is the one thing that has always bugged me about EVE both solo and group...
I really hope Incursions comes out well, but overall, I love all the hard work CCP has put into EVE and read every new Dev Blog that comes out. It says something when this is the only MMO and for the most part Video Game I play.

I like Eve (obviously) however I don't find that I have much affection for CCP. For some reason they have failed to create "brand" loyality to the company. Some games companies seem to do this very well. Mythic for example (before being bought by EA). I suspect that this is because there isn't a "known face" of the company, that speaks for them. Maybe there is, but after well over a year playing, I obviously can't name them.

I despise brand loyalty, and mock people who think it defines who they are.
Have respect for CCP, and like their attitude, but any other projects of theirs will stand on their own. If they suck i'll drop them like a bad habit.

I would not say I'm loyal to any company or product.
If the product offers me something that I want, I'll pay for it.
If a company that I've used before brings out a new product I might buy that product over one from a company I don't know (this also goes for avoiding companies too based on past experience of those companies).
The brand just tells me if the product might be of sufficient quality, nothing more.
So I will repeat buy products that measure up to what I want them for, but the brand name is only a guide.
I'm not interested in being loyal to a company, it's the quality of the product and after sales that are important both of which can change over time.

Loyalty to a company is as good as their last decision, really. :)
Also, why does it always have to be either love or hate? I do neither. Overall I think CCP are pretty cool, though. For one, compared to, say, the Bioware forums, they're far less uptight about what you're allowed to say on their forums. To me that translates to pretty level-headed folks. I see this reflected in EVE as well: they do listen to the customer base, but nonetheless keep their ground and stick to their own vision for the most part (as it should be).
Then, is CCP really one? For instance, I could say I 'heart' the dev guys quite a bit; and the commercial brass, making us vote thru Facebook, a little less. :P --

Loyal to CCP? Maybe years ago I would say yes. Now, not so much. Granted the only experience with CCP is thru EVE. As time goes on I feel like CCP is further and further abandoning this game.
I feel like we are a car they used to like a lot. Now they are taking out a new car and driving it around, showing their friends and taking it to all the parties. The last few expansions have felt like CCP doing the occasional oil change just to be able to say, "Yes, I care about my car." We are lucky if we get driven thru the automatic car wash at the gas station. We long for the days when we were hand washed each weekend with care.
One day the only evidence we existed will be in one of CCP's photo album. "Whatever happened to that sweet 93' EVE Online you used to sport around?" "That old thing? I eventually sold it to Sony down the block. Why should I maintain that when I've got my new WoD and DUST 514 to drive around?"
Maybe you should ask CCP if they are loyal to us.

Loyal to CCP??? Don't think I'll EVER be loyal to a company that show little regards to their subcribers, whether in space or here on the forums. You can forget you can EVER convince me of anything they did that would warrant my loyalty.

I'm only 2 years in eve online, but clear is, however, that someone with such a long drive along the same rail philosophy, eyes are getting blind for some details. If I do the same job for 10 years I do not recognize my own mistakes anymore. So I see CCP, they should just look in a new mirror and reflect how their current situaion is . This point by a neutral party. In principle they make a good job, in my opinion. But it could be better and they would inspire or keep more players in the game.

I <3 <3 CCP.
Favorite developer since 2001. (Tying with Valve)
For the following reasons: Very high quality development. Strong rapport with their community. Awesomeness.
I've kept accounts open with CCP without playing them for months on end just to support them and keep them developing. More like an investment than a subscription I guess?

I like CCP for making EVE. I am however not "loyal" since I got little to no connection to CCP as an entity.
I am however loyal to certin indy devs that I talk directly to and influence the games directly, this is not possible with a large organisation like CCP. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm a very 'loyal' to CCP.
I love the game they make and like their attitude in the blogs, on videos and on the forums.
Been around for 4years and plan to stay in till they pull the plug or i run out of entertainment cash, but then again i can always support myself with PLEX.
Thank you, CCP.
P.S. I plan on getting DUST514 and the Vamp MMO when they go life.

Zero loyalty to them. They take my money and do what they want, just as I give them my money and know they will do what they want.
They've made a good product with EVE I believe they will do the same with WOD when it comes out but I am loyal to no corporation because they have no loyalty to me beyond what they think will garner my compliance with things I don't like or disagree with so I'll keep being a customer which is the only thing any corporation cares about.
The second the people in charge think that X will make more money or is a better way to make money than something else already in place or liked they will cut the legs out from underneath the customers to pursue that more money making plan, this can happen with the same people in charge or when they get replaced as that happens in corporations. Often there is a perception of caring, attributed to the corporation, that comes from the lower rung people in the corporation and their dedication to the company/product/fans/customers which can and often eventually is undercut by decisions from the top. Some people care about the product/customers/etc but those are usually the people who do the work and don't get to make the decisions about running the company, the 'company' is an entity that cares for nothing and stands primarily to grow and make money.
I'm critical of CCP because of the many poor ideas/choices they make with their product, I think they can do better, in my view they have shown they are capable of 'great' things but often get mired in BS and short sighted goals. For me the longer I've had a relationship with them the more I see them going in the wrong direction or not 'getting it right'.
TLDR: I've got **** to clean.

Being honest Eve was the first MMO I played (and the only MMO I have played) for 5 years now.
For 4 years I payed my subs yearly fairly happily, but recently I have been very disappointed with the delivery of new content and upgraded designs from CCP especially considering they are an expanding company, I've felt Eve hasn't expanded/improved at the same rate.
For this reason I stopped paying subscriptions when it ended last May/June. I won't pay a subscription again I don't think, though I will continue to play with PLEX. So in terms of customers they want I'm probably terrible for CCP. Yes, a whinging old vet who contributes little to the game, but saying that I am and have been 100% loyal to CCP.
When Eve dies, I die or I run out of ISK to play Eve that will be it for me and MMOs. You can't buy that kind of loyalty.... I guess.
