I had this issue a while back, my PC would reboot randomly, and blue screen giving a different error each time, but only when I was playing EVE. I could play anything else no issues... To resolve the issue follow the instructions below, it seems odd, and you might think it wont make any difference - but for most of you it will.
To resolve all you need to do is turn off your computer, pop out your graphics card, and pop it back in, making sure its sits square and as far in as it can to your AGP/PCIx slot as possible - Then it needs to be securely screwed in place. Try eve again and see what happens, if it happens again, have another go. Trust me it works, and will work for a lot of you. (you might have to do it more than once though...)
If you are like me and live with your PC always open and a mesh of wire behind the PC you can just knock your card casing it to loose a little of its functionality, even if you hit your monitor cable a little hard when popping your headphones in or something, it happens. I can guarantee for some of you, the problem will vanish - for others, you might have to try again, or its a different issue.

if u have a CREATIVE soundcard, and experiance random reboots, i advice u to completely disable your audio for eve. The STRG + ALT + SHIFT + F12 whatever didn't help, but "audio=0" in the pref.ini does wonders...!!!

Connection to server lost,
20th time in one day. Yeah its my PC. Opps, I changed out the PC entirely with a new one. Oh must be my ISP, nope tried a 3rd PC from a dif. IP from a dif. city. It's not me. How can I continue to play this game if I am disconnected so often? Does anyone at CCP care at all? |

My constant crashing was solved by getting a new mobo. My old one was old and a rev. 1 board which was known to have a bad batch of caps which caused them to die early. Got a brand new board that has a great track record (abit NFS-7 S v2) and eve hasn't crashed a single time yet. Plus I have a TON of upgrade room now.
