Edited by: Al Kickaurazz on 21/01/2011 21:47:44 Created a new portrait and was happy with it. Then this happened:
My login screen (with the portrait i created): http://img337.imageshack.us/i/evebug1ingame.jpg/
My evegate screen(WTF?): http://img222.imageshack.us/i/evebug1evegate.jpg/
My in game screen after logging in (DOUBLE WTF??): http://img51.imageshack.us/i/evebug1ingame2.jpg/

It was a few hours before my in-game character sheet reflected my new portrait. As to EVE Gate, this might sound dumb, but have you tried simply refreshing the page?

why does it reflect the same portrait but without my hood though? The rest of the image is the same, just suddenly without the hood on..
The original image created was this (with the hood covering my face), and the first one displayed (hence my login screen being correct). Then suddenly 5 minutes later its "updated" to remove my hood?

Edited by: Tippia on 21/01/2011 21:56:16 I takes a while for the image server to render the picture at all resolutions, for the caches to clear, and for all manner of clients (eve itself, your browser) to be fed the updated versions.
The one you see on your login screen is most likely the local render that the client created temporarily when you clicked "Finalize", and which is used (for some image sizes) on that client only until the server and all the intervening steps have caught up.
edit: As for the hood/no hood, that seems to be a server rendering error ù certain parameters are apparently occasionally lost when transmitted from the client, and that one has been quite a common one in the last couple of days. ùùù ôIf you're not willing to fight for what you have in ≡v≡à you don't deserve it, and you will lose it.ö ù Karath Piki |

Sorry--I should have looked closer at your three images. Wish I knew the answers.

Thanks for helping and trying to explain though. Figured it was as much. probably a parameter not being passed (like which cloth toggle is used, just passing cloth option without toggle suboption probably).
Filed a petition.
