Rant on ...
Returned to Eve after a short break to try other areas of the game ... and to see if I could get the "Eve Bug Back"
After a few days I have really started to enjoy LvL 4 agent missions which normally isnt my game .......
As I don't fight in a group several deadspace missions I have to avoid ..... Silence Informant, Pirate Extrave and Damsel ..
However today logged on today with a 7.9 Agent Standing .....
1st Mission ..... Damsel ... had to reject
2nd Mission ..... Damsel ... had to reject
3rd Mission ..... Silence ... had to reject
4th mission ..... Normal ........ completed
5th mission ..... Damel ...... had to reject
6th mission ..... Normal ........ completed
7th mission ..... Normal ........ completed
8th mission ..... Normal ........ completed
9th mission ..... Silence ..... had to reject
Now with a 6.6 Agent standing ... I can no longer do LvL 4 missions ...
Sorry CCP ..... this is not fun .............
Ps ... Anyone know how to increase you Agent Standing Quickly ?
Thankyou

No .......... I agree that some missions should be hard ... but once rejected their should be a delay in getting the same mission again, and again and again ...

Just reject 1 every 4 hours, and you don't lose standing.
There has to be a system in place to prevent people declining every mission bar the easy ones, or the ones they know they can comfortably solo.

FYI, the damsel mission is easier than it looks. After killing the 4 wingmen, nothing will target you. Simply head for the group of rats guarding the headquarters and shoot them, leaving the first group alone. Scoop damsel, return to base, mission complete.

Totally disagree ..
Their are 3 level 4 missions which is almost impossible to complete solo ..... (note almost) ......
The argument (if you fully read and understand the post) is that if someone declines a mission and they get a Agent Status penalty then it is "stupid" to get the same mission offered 10 seconds later and again and again ....

If you can't solo these level 4 missions, do level 3 missions instead.
It's written nowhere that you have to do level 4, if you try level 3 Damsel or Silence missions you will find that you can complete them without problems, and that you will have much more fun when playing.

Edited by: Tad Ghostal on 25/01/2005 00:23:54 The problem with level 3 missions is basically they are far to easy .....
We need LvL 4's without the 2/3 "mad" deadspace missions to be solo or for new groups .. and for CCP to install LvL 5's with high rewards for group action ............
But for Silence of the Informat to be only 604 LP while one of the easiest is 4000+ it's rather silly ... (in my view)

Folks should pay attention to this, as it applies to a lot more than the Damsel mission.
In MANY deadspace missions, the NPCs are in 'groups'. Sometimes when you warp in, no one attacks you. Take your sweet time getting in position, and kill one group at a time. If you are attacked instantly on arrival, kill ONLY the NPCs attacking you while you move away from other NPCs. Once the first group is dead, you can heal, recharge and take your sweet time getting ready to take other groups out one at a time. If you are not under attack, avoid getting near NPCs until your are ready to fight them.
I try to immediately line up to warp out in deadspace, unless doing so would force me to get near NPCs that are not attacking me.
