There are fewer polytheists than there used to be, but for those who are the appropriate expression would be "For gods' sake."

This is bad grammar. It should have been written like this. "I have even seen player made pictures with this nonsense."

'Alot ... perhaps this common spelling error began because there does exist in English a word spelled ôallotö which is a verb meaning to apportion or grant. The correct form, with ôaö and ôlotö separated by a space is perhaps not often encountered in print because formal writers usually use other expressions such as ôa great deal,ö ôoften,ö etc.'

Please... while I do agree that it should almost be included in the dictionary at this point, I was merely making the point that it still isn't. I know this is news for some.

Language is interesting as people frame their words about their own actions and inclinations. But as no one can act totally independently of group dynamics how they say will act as an individual connects dots between the lines of how they operate within various groups.

Originally by: Admiral Leviathan Edited by: Admiral Leviathan on 26/01/2011 14:20:17 For god's sake people, stop using the letters a,l,o and t together when you mean "a lot". I even saw player-made pictures with this nonsense. It's cute when you are in 4th grade and just texted your first message to mommy, but it ends here.
Theres alot of nonsense in this thread.
