Hello,
I was wondering if any of you had an idea for a Tengu fit based on what you have seen recently in the Incursion release? Has anything changed from what you were normally doing with your PVE Tengu? Are HAM's performing in Incursion like it says on paper?
I want to make an investment into a Fleet DPS Tengu for Incursion and this fit seems to work for me but I would like your opinion on it based on your recent experience in game, it's stable but the range is only 40.2:
[Tengu, Twinkly Tengu] Caldari Navy Ballistic Control System Caldari Navy Ballistic Control System Caldari Navy Ballistic Control System Power Diagnostic System II
Republic Fleet 10MN Afterburner Target Painter II Shield Boost Amplifier II Gistii A-Type Small Shield Booster Photon Scattering Field II Invulnerability Field II
Heavy Assault Missile Launcher II, Terror Assault Missile Heavy Assault Missile Launcher II, Terror Assault Missile Heavy Assault Missile Launcher II, Terror Assault Missile Heavy Assault Missile Launcher II, Terror Assault Missile Heavy Assault Missile Launcher II, Terror Assault Missile Heavy Assault Missile Launcher II, Terror Assault Missile
Medium Hydraulic Bay Thrusters I Medium Rocket Fuel Cache Partition I Medium Warhead Calefaction Catalyst I
Tengu Defensive - Amplification Node Tengu Electronics - Dissolution Sequencer Tengu Engineering - Augmented Capacitor Reservoir Tengu Offensive - Accelerated Ejection Bay Tengu Propulsion - Fuel Catalyst
Thank you for any input you may have.

Drop the active tank, add resists and buffer: you will want high resists across the board. You will be flying in fleets with RR, trust the logistics pilots to do their job properly. -- [Aussie players: join ANZAC channel] |

Damned straight. Resists and buffer.

HAMs are especially gimped thanks to the incursion penalties.

Drop the local tank (SSB and SBA), switch to HMLs, extender rigs for additional buffer, ditch the TP for another resist mod, shield HP sub rather than the shield boost amp sub. Or the adaptive shielding one to make reps more responsive. Rigs are up in the air in a way, with some favoring additional CCCs with only one CDFE to limit sig bloat while others favor 3x CDFEs.
Testing the sites on Sisi before we throw all our expensive **** into them.

Mmm
Can I follow you in cloaky ninja looter when you depart.
I promise I wont have nothing to do with your demise... all I want is spoils once sansha pop you in first 5 seconds
Basically - for sansha PVE fits dont dare well. Consider it a PvP element in PvE with all PvP tricks -> they target primaries according to your actions -> being a primary = 10k omni dps against you -> you have to have buffer rather then rep -> all repping should be dedicated (remote logi) or spider (i dont see you are equipped with RR mod).
This tengu of yours will be insta popped when primaried due to no buffer.
Most probable scenario for this ship u have is:
1. second -> warpin 2. second -> you are primary, all targeting you 3. second all frigs are targeted on you scramming, webbing and TPing you 5. second all cruiser are targeted on you, your cap is instantly down to 0 7. second all BS target and fire their first shot - instapop 8. second -> you are warping back in your pod 9. second -> me wishes to loot wreck
So - can it be arranged?
I.

Get logis in your Incursion fleet. Take off the shield booster and boost amplifier, use the slots for more hardeners. Add a large shield extender to protect against alpha. Use HMLs so you can hit the rats that hang out at 60-90km.

So, how big is the buffer on this Ninja salvage vessel of yours?

Shush! He won't need a buffer tank because he's a ninja ;)

Roughly 31,000 shield hp/170k EHP (35,000 hp/200k EHP with siege warfare mindlink bonus) 600 dps active tank, 50hp/sec passive regen. Does 650 dps with terror rage, 600ish with CN.
The more expensive modules can easily be subbed out for cheaper t2. Alternately you can drop the shield booster for a 3rd LSE, pushing it up to about 40,000 shield hp (220k EHP) which should make your logistics pilots very happy.
