As long as it was a capital ship I wouldn't have a problem with the concept. Though in effect I could see various Kingdoms using them to cut access off to their space. I'd assume there would be a hefty cost in fuel though, so if you balance that might work okay.

Love the T2 Destroyer idea for killing bombers....
what I would love to see, and many have begged for, is an Exploration ship. It's time SOE started to award faction exploration ships. Yeah I know you can fit a T3 cruiser for scanning but why do all roads have to lead to T3?
Right now we are using mainly combat ships for science, yet there are mining ships for mining, freighters for hauling, stealth ships for sneaking around, battle ships for battling - you get the picture. So why not exploration ships for exploring?

We need a dedicated scamming ship.
Let's say you sail this ship, called the Scammathron for instance, in Jita outside 4-4. You activate your scamming module (high-slot) which has a percentage change of scamming the victim, based on your skill for the ship and the module.
Sounds good, yes?

I like the idea of the anti bomber ship. It would fit in with the anti drone/anti fighter concept, just be a different model in the same category. Basically a Picket Ship.
Is your exploration ship idea kinda like my Science Ship, or are you meaning something like the astrometrics frigates just larger :). Just curious.

Those are good ideas too :), always kinda wanted those to. Electronic Superiority Ships (to counter the Electronic Warfare ones)

I'd rather they re-vamp the ships that go unused for the most part (thinking of mainly bunch of t1 frigates and cruisers) Give the tier 1 BC's a different role as tier 2, not just inferior.

There are plenty of 'forgotten' ships in the t1 lineup to more than fill the roles players are asking for if ccp would just put a couple of competant devs on it. I mean how hard can it be? All that needs to be done is tweak the stats a bit and not go through the labor intensive process of building a new ship from scratch. God knows there are enough threads over the years to provide plenty of intellectual stimulus in this direction.

Ugh. Just what Gallente desperately needs - more underwhelming garbage that no one in their right mind uses (see: hybrids; damps; info warfare; Gallente logi; etc. etc.). I, for one, can't wait to devote three midslots to damping down one opponent in a field of 5/10/20/100+ with my trimarked, plated, 30-second-align-time battleship.

What. You thought ninja mining is easy? And yes you can get into a blockade runner in a relatively low sp alt especially with the new 'max attribute' characters and a set of cheap +3 implants.

Two things: 1) Balance the existing T1 ships so far more of them are viable. What's the use of 4 cruisers and 6 frigates if people only fly 1 or 2 of them anyway;
2) designated specialist ships I'd like to see: * a big bomber ship - a cruiser with BS weapons like a SB but one size bigger; * anti-frigate ship, say a BS sized vessel that can fit 10-12 small weapons or a cruiser with 8; * cyno ship (with nice carghohold) * hauler that can transport non-repackaged ships * dedicated salvage/archeaology/hacking ship * a fast battleship with less firepower but twice the speed

I thought a resupply support ship would be cool, you could resupply ammmo, missiles, drones, crystals, etc
Fleets can already call out what they need like armor repair, cap recharge, and shield boosting, so why not signaling their low on torps and have a support ship fly over, lock on and resupply them in the middle of a fight? It wouldn't have to be an entirely new class, perhaps just another ship in the logistics class :)
Skills could improve resupply rate, lower cycle duration, increase distance from ship you can supply from. I'm thinking sorta like a reverse tractor beam sorta deal. Perhaps even have them skill up what they can resupply and perhaps quantity of it. Ship bonus to cargo capacity?

1) Do not give away free ships. Because they are free and everyone gets one they automatically have to suck. Why not make them buildable by players and give them proper bonuses?
2) T3 frigates, BC and BS definitly need to be introduced. We need more pvp ships. Oh, fixing some of the existing broken ones helps too.
3) Screw mission/carebear ships for once, this is a pvp game.

The frigates and cruisers were meant to be springboards to newer technologies.
For example:
Scythe: Mining Cruiser (Exhumers are better at it) or Logistics (Logistics is better at it) Bellicose: EW Warfare (Huginn takes over the role at higher skill....still this ship is underutilized for what it does). Rupture: Multi Purpose Cruiser (Muninn supplants it) Stabber: Fast Attack Cruiser (Vagabond supplants it)
Osprey: Mining Cruiser (Exhumers are better, except at ninja mining as someone pointed out above) or Logistics (Logistics is better) Blackbird: EW Warfare (Falcon/Rook/Scorpion take over role at higher skill.....the most common EW cruiser used) Moa: Sniper (Ferox/Rokh take over role, possibly Eagle too) Caracal: Missile Cruiser (Drake takes this role)
Celestis: EW Warfare (If more Gallente fleets included these the short range of blasters would not be an impediment). Thorax: Fast Attack Cruiser (Deimos takes role) Vexor: Light Drone Carrier, makes good combat/miner (Myrmidon takes over role then Domi) Exequror: Cargo Cruiser (Transports supplant this), Logistics (Logistics support this)
Augoror: Energy Transfer (Specialized ship to support hi cap usage ships) Maller: Armored Cruiser (Armageddon is better) Omen: Strike Cruiser (Zealot is better) Arbitrator: Light Drone Carrier, EW Warfare (Pilgrim takes over)
Nothing is really wrong with the cruisers it is the mindset we've developed. Far to many think any EW other than ECM is useless, and thus the complaints about Blasters being useless because no one uses the Celestis. If you paired a few celestis up with a blaster fleet you could get the time needed to close distance.
The Bellicose can overcome the tracking problems of artillery easily with Target Painters, but you don't see them used as much as they should be.
Arbitrator as a raider is pretty common, that is the energy neut/tackler set up, but it is equally effective against an enemy fleet consisting of turret ships when paired with other ships as it can shut down the enemy turrets.
EW Frigates are the same way, they are a cheap way other than tackling that a new player can make an impact, however they will quickly leave those behind for cruisers if they like that job, and eventually to recons.
Magnate makes about the best cyno ship for low skill pilots (Probe for the higher skilled ones after it gets more cargo space).
The Breacher is a highly underused ship however in the hands of a skilled pilot it can contain quite a wallop. Though obviously if you fly stealth bombers you'll stop using it.
T1 Frigates and Cruisers were never meant to be a ship you'd stay in as you advanced, however anyone has the option to use them and yes they are weaker than their t2 cousins as they should be but that doesn't mean they can't be effective in numbers.

Mobile Cyno Jammer sounds interesting, capital ship I'm sure and uses fuel to jam.
Ship Hauler....like the Orca but maybe more for ships.
