*coughs* Is this thing on? I never can tell...oh, there's the indicator, okay let's keep it sweet and to the point Dris...
Hi, I'm Driselle, and...oh they can't see me waving...argh. And I'm a fairly new graduate of the Republic Military School. Honestly I wish my parents had the money to send me somewhere decent. I guess the military did a good job, but I really didn't care for the drills and being yelled at. Get to the point, Dris!
Ever since I left the Military and set off on my own, I'd been looking for people who...well, were more like me. Most everyone I'd come across were either unable to form complete sentences or only interested in...how did they put it? Pew-pew? My parents didn't care for that either I suppose, because before I was born they moved out to a remote sector of Matari space to raise me. Probably thinking I'd be safer...from the Amarr, I suppose? I don't know - that war has long been over as far as I can tell, and I've met some pretty friendly Amarr. You're getting off-track again, Dris!
Okay! So I was recruited by this corp based out in Nonni, and they seemed nice enough so I packed all of my gear up and tossed it into a Wreathe and headed out there. Then only a couple of weeks later the WHOLE corp disintegrated due to a spy infiltration, and I found myself alone again, headed back to Matari space, in that same Wreathe. Made me sad, too, because I really liked the people in that corp. I figured if I was going to be alone, might as well be with people I can relate to, right? Well, THAT was a hell of a decision on my part 'cause I met up with some really swell peop... Gods Dris, SWELL?
GREAT people in the 21EL. I couldn't be happier. I decided quite a while ago that I needed to catch up on my lore, since my parents didn't let me read about that kind of thing while I was growing up, so I've become a miner. We lived on this really backwater planet, and my parents were kinda outsiders anyway, and they weren't our 'tribe' or whatever that means, so we kinda did things on our own and none of that included me being able to read ANY kind of history. Gods Dris, breathe once in a while!
So yeah, miner, boring, but I'm catching up on my reading! And I've got a little salvage gig I do every once in a while to keep myself interested. Er, uh...sorry Kiely and Son! It's not a big gig, I SWEAR! Just roid rats! Okay Dris, time to shut up now!
Anyway that's me in a nutshell. You sound like a nutshell. How do you turn this thing...

If you'd rather not be alone again, I could introduce you to some fascinating, friendly people. Leave that joke of a corporation and we can talk, lest you burn with them and their stupid spacehorse. -

Welcome to the void, Ms. Driselle.
Unfortunately, those would cause you trouble come in all shapes, sizes, and bloodlines... though, equally fortunately, so do those who would help you. I, for one, hope to be the latter category.
Anyhow, I do wish you luck in the void; should we see each other in a station or planetside sometime, perhaps we could sit down and talk for a bit. ----------------------------------------------
Say "Amarr ships suk, lol." I dare you.

I'm quite happy with the 21EL, thankyouverymuch. It was Hades Inc that imploded over in Nonni. I hear they rebuilt it, but I haven't talked to any of them in a while.

Welcome.
It occurs to me that certain aspects of Amarr and Khanid culture might have been misrepresented while you were living out in the far reaches of matari space. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me.
Just keep in mind, no one here is exactly what they appear to be.

Misrepresented? I'm afraid not. The few true-blooded Amarr I've met have fully lived up to their reputations as well as my own expectations. From what I've seen here, with very few exceptions, none of them have a single redeeming quality. |

Is that you speaking, or your CEO ? If indeed it is you, please consider that most of the people on the IGS you may be refering to are the most active voices in the Empire and part of the higher classes. They are not representating the whole empire political roster, and you might see by speaking with a lot of people of amarrian origin that they are actually very far from your expectations. |

And now that we've met, how have I lived up to your expectations? What do you consider to be redeeming qualities? And what kind of redemption do feel is best represented by these qualities?
I know it may be difficult to immediately change your view of the Empire and our Kingdom. I would hope that you can eventually see us with your eyes as individuals and not as a whole.

Driselle...Mo Ghra'. Don't waste your time and energy debating here...all you will find is pathetic and frustrating double speak. Use your own eyes...your own heart, make your own decisions. "I" know you are far wiser and farseeing than most here that would draw you into their venomous webs of agenda.
...Ach i dhTanamh do sh·ile fTin liom a fheiceßil ar fad. I'll explain later.
