Edited by: Braondra on 07/02/2011 03:11:04 This is my first EVE Fiction. I dont know what made me write it, but I did. It's the tale of how my character came to be. I hope you all enjoy it.
Branondra was born on a Capsuleer's freighter class Charon. When he was discovered in the corridor leading to the Captain's Quarter's, no one knew who had left him there. The ship was in deep space near the system Uemisaisen of the Lonetrek region. He was unmistakably Caldari in appearance, even as an infant. Pregnancies aboard an interstellar ship are not allowed, as the Jump drive on these types of ships cause unknown side affects on fetus'. This made Braondra special. His mother had made it passed the bio scanners before the launch, and he had been delivered with very little medical aid. A true marvel with the advancement of medicine and Human's dependencies on it at space. The Capsuleer who's ship Braondra was found on was did not punish his crew, or seek out the mother. Instead he adopted the infant as his own. He knew the mother delivered the baby to him for a reason. It would be months before the ship arrived at another station large enough to accommodate its size. Because of this the Capsuleer made arrangements to his personal quarters fit for the infant. The Capsuleer raised Braondra the only way he could, aboard his ship. Commanding a freighter was, for the most part, a passive way of working while in warp between star systems. When Braondra grew of age to think and write on his own, the Capsuleer dedicated himself to teach Braondra all he knew. The Capsuleer had flown his ship across the galaxy countless times. He told Braondra tales from every corner and arm of the Eve Galaxy. The Capsuleer told Braondra exotic stories of Gallente cuisine. Braondra was taught lessons of Amarrian religious literature. And Braondra was introduced to the customs and ways of the tribalistic Minmatar. As Braondra developed his personality and his own way of life, he realized and understood that he was orphaned for a good cause. Braondra tuned his skill set to closely resemble his ôfather's.ö He would engineer and study as well as any seasoned manufacturer or strategic mastermind. After a time, he was given a small portion of his fathers freighter's cargo hold to test his experiments and to build a workshop. Braondra practiced making drones after examining his fathers blueprints, and making chemical reactions to make polymers and components. Braondra was fortunate his father kept an extensive list of contacts and people whom he trusted to teach Braondra. He honed his socialization skills and grew his own list of contacts and friends.
