Edited by: Jev North on 15/02/2011 01:15:21 Edited by: Jev North on 15/02/2011 00:35:40 Dear oh dear, eliminated in the first round. I suspect it's the eyemods, really. Too pale. On top of the facial sculpt, I must look a hatched-faced, hungry ghost. I shall have to consider executing the stylist who recommended this to me as "intimidating yet alluring."
I'm curious to see if I can yet make a mark on this contest, however, and I'd not be a Deteis if I did not see a way to perhaps snatch a small profit out of the jaws of defeat. I'm opening a little betting book on this -- let's call it..
the NEW EDEN'S NEXT TOP MODEL DEADPOOL.
- This is a parimutuel-style betting pool. In brief, this means that upon closing, the amount of all bets shall be totaled, the House's take deducted from it, and each winning bet paid out multiplied with the ratio of total amount remaining in the pool to amount bet on the winning candidate. A more detailed explanation can be had elsewhere on the Galnet, for example here.
- The House take is 5%. The House shall seed the betting pool by placing a bet of 1.052.631,58 ISK on each of the contestants, thus guaranteeing a minimum pay-out pool of 50.000.000,05 ISK. There is no minimum or maximum bet, although to encourage risk-seeking behaviour and save on the wear and tear of my administrative systems, only the TWENTY-FIVE HIGHEST WINNING BETS shall be paid out.
- Bets are VALID on any of the contestants of the NEW EDEN'S NEXT TOP MODEL competition, as published by the Thrice-Illustrious Sovereign, Revan Neferis.
- A WINNING bet is a bet on the LAST CONTESTANT to DIE, placed BEFORE the death of said contestant. This is determined at the conclusion of the contest by the election of EVE'S TOP MODEL, at the official closure of the contest for any other reason, or at whatever moment (at least 30 days from the start of the contest, announced at least five days in advance) the House feels it is unlikely to come to a proper conclusion. This is in no way intended to induce a vicious feedback cycle between the interests of gamblers, potential assassins, and contestants.
- A CONTESTANT is a person still considered to be in the running for top model. DEATH of a contestant is the cessation of activity in the brain considered to be the locus of consciousness of said person. This is irrespective of back-ups or brain scans; under this interpretation, capsuleers can die multiple times, and the last only shall be counted. In the case of multiple deaths on a short timescale due to an identical or similar cause, e.g. explosion, mass poisoning, or concentrated burst of gunfire, the House may rule the deaths simultaneous and consider all valid bets on the persons involved winning.
- The onus of PROOF of death and time of death, especially where doubt exists or the House may have overlooked facts, rests on the shoulders of the gamblers making a claim. CONCORD-verified kill records, verified and cryptographically-signed video by major news networks or the contest organizers itself, and witness accounts of the members of TBNA will be accepted, but the ultimate judgment is always made by the House.
- Bets may be made by simply transferring the amount of ISK you wish to bet to Jev North, stating "DEADPOOL ", without quotes, immediately followed by the NUMBER of the contestant according to the list published by the Thrice-Illustrious Sovereign, here and onward. Mislabeled bets will be considered personal donations. All transfers are final. No communication regarding bets or transfers will be accepted.
- Although the House shall keep the identities of gambler confidential, the House reserves the right to publish pool totals, odds, or noteworthy bet amounts as it sees fit, to encourage betting or other developments.
Best of luck!

It is fitting that the party's night also was taking place during one of the most costly battles, with over a dozen titans and multiple other supercarriers destroyed.
Excellent stepping out of inhibitions, especially to Miss Jetena, and a mention to Miss Mirita for getting a greatly amusing show started with the CCD. And as Shintoko hinted, several pounds of Crash and other narcotic passed around and consumed, much thanks to a certain businessman's providing.
And of course congratulations to those who walked out with even more isk in their wallets and greater consideration from the judges. You earned all of it.

A night of drugs, booze and touching,
Swimming and splashing in the air.
The flight of thugs, oozing cunning,
Brimming with thrashing despair.
We drank, we laughed, we danced and brooded,
One dare too little we finished,
I thanked those who passed, as others eluded,
My snare has not yet diminished.

After 4 hours of an Intense and ravishing celebration tonight, I must say that you all have impressed me beyond expectations. Tonight we have seen the spirit of the Sani Sabik embraced on many aspects, the praise of pleasures, the liberation of minds, the innebriation of senses and delights of Isk, flesh.
To Miss Mercy Regard: Enchanting, powerful, sensual personality. I'm looking forward to see the "Many sides" surfacing now as well and hopefully they will be as intriguing as the one you have displayed tonight. A real pleasure having you with us beauty.
To Mr Killer Gandry: Needless to say, you have changed much since these first 24 hours with us. I'm positively impressed by what I have seen. Not an unsophisticated peo, but a man of tastes, personality and thus far, a very pleasing company to us all. Great potential.
To Istvaan Shogaatsu: I'm speechless. Thank you nonetheless for providing the night with tons of the purest and most expensive narcotics available in New Eden and for giving us all of the most " what the .??? " moments of the party:
Koronakesh > Istvaan and the drone.... waltzing... Creepy Camera Drone > Who leads? Istvaan Shogaatsu > /emote stares at the drone. Creepy Camera Drone > Who leads? Istvaan Shogaatsu > Me, you mouthy toaster. Istvaan Shogaatsu > Now if only I can find somewhere to grab on to... Creepy Camera Drone > I disagree. You follow. Istvaan Shogaatsu > /emote grabs one of Creepy Camera Drone's dangling cables. Istvaan Shogaatsu > I DISAGREE, YOU FOLLOW. Istvaan Shogaatsu > /emote yanks! Istvaan Shogaatsu > /emote begins waltzing languidly with Creepy Camera Drone, appearing completely lost in the romance of the moment. Creepy Camera Drone > Satisfactory. Creepy Camera Drone > Take the lead. Good relationships should be balanced.
And next time...
Istvaan Shogaatsu > Oh lord no. Istvaan Shogaatsu > /emote digs around in his non-Revan-occupied pocket for a palm link. Istvaan Shogaatsu > Hey uhh... can you take two steps to the right? Istvaan Shogaatsu > Just trust me on this one. Darveses > Is there dog poo two steps to the right? Istvaan Shogaatsu > No but there are a number of Crates Of Harroule Dryweed on an orbital entry trajectory, scheduled to crash through the roof and land where Istvaan Shogaatsu > /emote looks at his watch, taking cover behind the bar... [Istvaan Shogaatsu > Right... Darveses > /emote makes one step, then scans the ground for danger with his right foot. Istvaan Shogaatsu > About... Istvaan Shogaatsu > /emote ducks as the roof explodes.
Try to make a little less mess around, shall you dear? Pleasure to have you charming one, as always.
So many names to mention here now and hours of fun that can't be quite expressed in a few lines. In short: It was a wonderful night and I sense it's just the first of many to come.
Congratulations to the candidates for making our time together very entertaining and special to all. Certainly, wether you leave our event this sunday as one of the 15 finalists or not, you'll carry with you the memories of an extraordinaire time with us.

Thanks for an excellent evening, to all participants.
Except Istvaan, it'll take some time til I can forgive you poisoning me, dear. But from what I've seen in the video logs, my drone avenged me.
I'm also not sure wether Jussarafinissi collected enough bonus points with that awesome cocktail of supreme fruitiness to make up for almost killing me by truthing me into almost getting myself killed by Revan.
Thanks to Killer Gandry, for one of the most excellent massages I can recall, that was surprising.
Thanks to Sonir for ... no wait, youre ****ing terrible! (...) But the silver straw was shiny, saved your rating.
Jetena ... stealing my men - bad, bad thing! *grins*
Anfauglith...you may not have won the staring contest with the drone, but you did win my heart with this:
Creepy Camera Drone > TRUTH: Would you rather enjoy a candlelight dinner with this unit or Istvaan Shogaatsu? *Anfauglith looks completely dumbstruck* (...) *Anfauglith stands up and looks straight at the drone > I'd chose you Drone.* Fei Lai > Prove it! Give him a kiss!
Calathea ... sorry again!
*Darveses nods* > If something hurts that was pobably me rolling you over to the pool, kinda didnt occur to me that I could have carried you.
In closing, this about sums the evening up:
Sonir Lestat > Do it!

The amount of alcohol and drugs, the macho of the men and the sexiness of the ladies, the laughters and the dramas, and my first line of crash... Although I can't tell what happened after I collapsed on the bed, couldn't even notice the hotdropping crates, woke up with sore in my throat and my boobs... It was helluva good night and I can say I enjoyed it very much. Not going to naming people; some of you I owe a drink or two, some, a slap in the face.

After arriving at the Resort I made it my first duty to get into a nice relaxed mood.
A few drinks and the ocean beckoned me to take a swim. Which proved wonderfully relaxing. Almost asif I was swimming in my pod and taking in all impressions fed to me by neural links. The sky somehow seemed slightly different than normal a sky looks and I am fairly certain that besides filtering effect there were also shields present.
The partyguessts arrived now and then which gave me a bit more time to study our hosts a bit more when they were present. Study them a bit, evaluate them and start assessing.
I was very amused that the notion went around that being harsh and direct in some ways meant that I would be more a barbarian and wouldn't understand culture or be sophisticated enough to enjoy the simple pleasures of a very fine cigar.
The truth or dare game was quit amusing to participate in and it showed me that there are still a lot of inhibitions so I will adjust my posture to fit in with the rest of the company. For the most part I am checking what kind of competition I have and how to work with that.
All in all it was a nice relaxing and interesting evening to participate in and I am looking forward to more "socialising" and less boundries. Let's find out who really dares.
Do not fear death so much but rather the inadequate life. |

It certainly was an interesting night, but my headache suggests I had one dare too many. I have to admit you surprised me, Killer--you're a great deal more fun than I would have guessed. Istvaan, you are an evil, evil man!
It's worth noting that Darveses may have been involved in more dares than any single one of the contestants, and he faced them all with style!
Overall, though, the camera drone is my pick for winner of the night! *blows the creepy thing a kiss*

Another very lovely evening at this very lovely resort.
I really am not sure on how tonights event went for myself, but the important point I had got across: I'm in this in order to gain the monetary gain to continue where a certain freedomfighter left off, to continue liberating and helping my brethren and their families.
Ah, before I forget, this resort has one partiucular camera-drone that is VERY creepy. First day I tried my best staring it down, it turned into a competition and in the end I lost, but I'm certain only because it cheated! The self-esteem it had was unnatural as well, some form of sentience I am sure!
But regardless of that, this second night I managed to even the score to 1-1! It seems flying rustbuckets with moldy wires resembling a head can't take some Matari Firewater!

What a pity that the most crucial phase of this contest would come at an inconvenient time for me.
My curiosity for the debauchery that doubtlessly accompanies any Sani Sabik gathering is overwhelming, but pressing strategic concerns in my alliance, and other personal distractions, are keeping me from attending anything so far. I missed the poolside resort event and for that I am both sorry and regretful.
The goal is apparently to earn "points," and I intend to earn as many as I can -- however, it appears that I will only be able to earn points in the final couple of days before the final fifteen are chosen.
Good luck to all the other contestants -- I have reviewed everyone who made it in and I now see I have some incredible competition. May the most beautiful and the most daring win.
