Yup And very well done.
≡v≡ once was about internet spaceships. Then those became serious business. Now all that's left, serious business, and spaceships are docked for two years till after the Dust of Incarna. |

epic first page post epic news epic games development company epic game
looking forward to watching the fan fest presentations now - if incrana is half as seemless and fun-filled as incursion it will still have been worth the wait.

Nicely done. That said, change your info on the login news - the patch drops February 15th, not January 15th.
Also, IB4C - finally!

Then the long-awaited switch from our old, admittedly dated forums to EVE Gate with all kinds of new functionality.
Meh, CCP doesn't care about the forums. If they did they wouldn't put it on such a crappy platform as spacebook. They would moderate long-term trolls that continually spam new troll threads. New forums are a sham.

Didn't I hear something about the team responsible for Incarna boycotting scheduled CSM meetings?
Fail media spin makes me wonder if all the positive things that have been done will just all get thrown away in the worship of mighty dollar.

No, they participated in Summit sessions. We just haven't had any engagement otherwise, unfortunately.

Just about first page \o/
I thought the first three releases were it for Incursion, as such I retract the snide comment I made the other day about fixes not being forthcoming.
Can we have some more info on Incarna before Fanfest though, for those of us not blessed with deep enough RK isk pools? :P

I like this, and I'm sure a more fluid release schedule cuts down on "crunch time" (which bad for dev health, and bad for bug free releases).
Hopefully this means we'll get some more large features like Incarna that simply don't fit into 6 month delivery time-frames, as well as ongoing polishing of features both new and old.
The only thing I can complain about is patching 8 accounts with the smaller releases

Originally by: CCP Zulu At least our new PCU record of 63.170 leads us to believe that you, our players, are happy with the content and delivery of what we've been doing.
That would an erroneous and premature assumption.
All it shows is that the nature of the content is sufficient to get players back for another month, to explore it. If the PCU continues to rise then well done, content is awesome. If it slips back again, you missed the mark.
Just saying.

That's quite true. If you take a look at the devs giving commentary on Incursion on the CCP youtube channel, some of them look like zombies.

I'm hoping for this too. Some thing don't require the expansion cycle to implement, but the bigger features suffer by putting one expansion cycle hard limit on the development. Now CCP seems willing to iterate on things for multiple expansion cycles and the staged release allows more dev time on big or problematic features even during a single cycle. This seems like a much better system compared to the old one.
