Great interview on Lost in Eve Ripard - smart, specific and informed. You want CCP to implement the game I want to play - and by insisting that CCP make good on all that iteration development they been promising us. It don't get any fairer than that!
Good luck, you have my vote

Appears that people who read the candidates blogs and listen to their interviews support Rippard. Most his votes come from those who have actually looked into the CSMÆs beyond there short write up. TBH the best candidate running and worthy of every vote he gets. He is proving he is the man for the job rather than depending on some forum of alliance group to vote him in based upon his name or reputation.
Go Rip!

I have my own opinion and let me share it with you:
For it's professional and game experience I would ask Seleene to point the important folders, set out and list each and every relevant point and ask he's own conclusions.
For it's professional and game experience I would send Rip right to the front face to face with CCP. He's communication abilities are, with no possible doubt in my opinion, a major strength for the next CSM.

Thanks. And no I don't, actually. I have four votes. I used three of them on myself, and one on you. Figure if I don't get elected, you're the CSM delegate I get the right to pester.
Also, I have written a blog post regarding my feelings on Vuk's resignation. -- Ripard Teg Jester's Trek, wherein I ramble about EVE and my run for CSM6.

I have a few questions regarding the issues you could champion: 1. What specifics do you plan to address in regards to bringing Gallente in line with the other factions, do you support redoing hybrid turrets as a whole, alterations of ship stats and bonuses. Some have suggested a overhaul of armor tanking, what is your position on this subject. 2. Do you plan to support mission runners and any changes made to the mission/agent aspect of the game 3. What is your position on faction warfare and lowsec
thanks in advance

1. Look at http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Hybrid_guns_balance_%28CSM%29 this issue has been raised. Doubt a CSM can suggest a specific change but I am sure rip would keep pressure on CCP for this issue.
2. I can't speak for Rip but I ran lvl 4 missions with him about 8 months ago. So i know for a fact he has personal experiance living in Em[ire doing level 4 missions on a regular basis. Out of all the canditates he has some of the most rounded experiance. Here is some from his post.
Quote: 5. I've been a hard-core L4 mission grinder. This one grew out of #3 and #4. I spent a lot of time in a high-sec corp as part of Sturmgrenadier Syndicate. They would take new players with very low skill-points, and for a while, I was one of their recruiters. As a result, I needed to help these newbies build up their wallets. So for more than a year, I ran a weekly L4 mission group of 8-14 pilots and we would grind L4 missions, sometimes 25 in one night! Missions are horribly repetitive, but the experience taught me more about leading fleets and the strengths and weaknesses of different ship types. Since SG was fixed to a particular area of space, I couldn't do as many couriers as I had in the past, so my main income source during this time was solo-ing L4s when I wasn't running the fleets.
6. I've been in the thick of faction warfare. Faction warfare started at about this time, and Sturmgrenadier decided to get into it. I was part of the Amarr-Minmatar conflict, and put my FC'ing experience to work on this front in destroyer and cruiser battles. Mostly, what I learned is that faction warfare is terribly broken. :-P The LP in faction warfare sucks, the PvE component is sort of stapled on, and I swear it's harder to make a FW system change hands than it is to make a 0.0 system change hands! It was difficult to pull together fleets because a lot of FW pilots had to spend a lot of time in high-sec missioning in order to be able to afford faction warfare. Then you'd end up taking FW fleets into high-sec to try to gank the other guy's missioners... Anyway, end of rant: it's broken, and I recognize it.
from http://jestertrek.blogspot.com/2011/02/my-eve-experience.html 3. This question is a big reason to vote for Rip IMO. I believe he was handed all the documentation by an outgoing CSM on low sec and faction warfare who was the prevouse champion for this.
Really check out his blog it's great.

As nice it is of you to reply to my post E man, due to the fact your answers contained phrases like "I presume rip will" and "I cant speak for rip", I would still like to hear from ripard himself full answers to my questions (especially question 1). no offense intended

1. I love Gallente ships, and there's no question that both Gallente ships in general and hybrid weapons in particular need re-balancing. I've written a long blog post about this. When the subject comes up before the CSM, I will strongly support such a re-balancing. May it come soon.
2. I spent more than a year as part of the Empire recruiting corp for a 0.0 corp. In that position, I ran a weekly L4 mission group for new members of that corp, most of them new EVE players. I was running L4 missions weekly when the mission loot/drone loot nerf hit last year. In my opinion, the nerf was taken too far. I understand why it was done, but I think it hurt people who just want to play EVE casually in Empire. That said, mission-running is one of the aspects of the game that needs some new attention. Many of the missions need to be re-balanced or re-leveled, and it would be nice to have some new missions written.
3. I've written a post earlier in this thread about my ideas for low-sec. -- Ripard Teg Jester's Trek, wherein I ramble about EVE and my run for CSM6.

ok, voted, but when you get in, I really expect you'll to light that fire under CCP's arse to fix the faction dilemma. Just don't spend too much time interviewing the "I faction for easy mission runnings" peeps for ideas ;) Getting them to fix the plex server-down problem would be one of the good places to start :) (suggestion) Lucks
