I just started and subscribed a few days ago and wanted to start trading. I have been reading this forum since I have started and was looking for any advice. I am currently training Retail to 4 and wanted to know where I should look to start making money trading.

Buy high, sell low, and let volume take care of the profits!!!

-Get margin trading up ASAP, most important skill you will have as a trader.
-Find items that work for you, buy low, sell high.
-Eveprofit is your friend (.com)
-Moving modules to mission hubs is also a good option.

Got it. I am doing missions right now to get some money to start buying things with. I just looked at margin trading and the skill book is way to expensive at the moment for me

After reading some guides I have been unclear on what kind of trading I should start on. Should I move items to different places and sell them?

When I started trading, I found there was some good money to be made by flying the industrial I got from the tutorials and trading in NPC trade goods. I ran shipments of Spirts, Holoreals, Quafe, Tobaco, and even Garbage between NPC stations and made a tidy nest egg of capital.
Once I got 40-50 million ISK, I branched into the player to player market which was more lucrative, but required some starting capital. Cheers |

Use buy orders and take advantage of the massive amounts of info on previous item sales.

Be careful when you see impossibly high buy prices in low sec systems. The buy orders could be placed there to lure you into a gate camp.
