As other have said, it's all about the people you play with. I'm new and i was close to quitting but then i join an awesome corp and i'm hooked on the game.
Big corps are good as you will never be short of things to do.

...but a small tight knit Corp has its virtues too!

I always look forward to Lemmings Leaps with EVE Radio every first and third Saturday a month. We mini-blob FW space with random people/ships and either kill people or have fun dying in the process. It's usually a bunch of crap fit frigates and a couple people in shinies. I particularly like going kamakaze and run around in an inty to see how long I can live tackling. - - [SERVICE] Corp Standings For POS anchoring

I find thats not true. Having a social outlet is good for some, just like everything else in teh game.
Some things I do to not get bored with the game.
Frigate piracy in low sec (solo) Hunting in a pilgrim (difficult yet rewarding) Trolling random people in local (while drunk) EOH Poker (maybe while missioning) High sec hit and runs (War) Edit* EvE radio events (some are pretty fun, like finding and killing the DJ in a low sec system, lulz)
All solo, all fun, never bored -------------------------------------------------
Don't debate with morons. They drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience. |
