Just a brief question, wondering if anyone has had previous experience with running L5's in a carrier? I've heard its fairly lucrative (more so than doing sanctums with a max carrier).
My main question is if it's common to be constantly nagged by probers, I managed to find a relatively quite piece of space with my desired corp, but I am unsure if it's worth my time... comparing it to 0.0 sanctums.
Cheers,

Cheers,
It is. You will be probed out and hotdropped by a titan, because everyone want a carrier km. It used to be safer and worth the risk ages ago. Sanctums are, by comparison, fountains of liquid isk for zero risk, as you don't see hostiles for weeks on end while deep with an alliance's blue ass. Carrier sanctum farmers with access to them don't grind lvl5s in lowsec.

What is the avarage isk/h for sanctums in a carrier? I assume you need a thanatos with gal carrier and fighters at V?

Depending on a fit, 15-20m per cycle... so anywhere in the region of 60mill

Really? That's pretty terrible :( I expected it to be at least twice as much considering the amount of skill you need to pull it off

Grossly underestimated. 100+mil per hour in bounty/pure liquid isk, at the very least, in a 1500dps carrier. More than that in a 1800dps Thanatos. There are also lazy ppl running with sentries, for less dps.

cant dd in lowsec
I do lvl 5's with a chimera and a thanny in losec, i get anywhere between 120-240m/hour doing lvl 5's in them. Now only like 40% of my missions i can use a carrier in, the rest i have to use my bs's. so its profitable if you have a quiet system and dont have to wory about acceleration gates.

Titan bridges in the blob, don't need dd. And you should tell us which system you're in, so we can keep you company.

Grossly overestimated unless you are in a carebear coalition like NC who have basically been sitting in their space for ages while farming isks... For the general pilot 50-60 mil / hour is far more realistic.

The only difference is seeing a hostile once every month as opposed to one every few days. When you do run, it's the same. Note that the boat in question is carrier, if you run them in a raven, that's your problem.
