Topic? Im guessing WH is a lil more profitable, but the thing is it gets really boring have to constantly scan for exits and entrances and the whole logistics part.
Is there a big difference between the two? I know in upgraded systems your guaranteed isk to, but our WH is a c5 with a c4 static so we always have that static also.
Thoughts? Isk Vs Work ration?

C5 is definitely more profitable if you're in subcaps.
If you're willing to risk getting kicked from your alliance for being completely ******ed, I heard a guy in one of my old alliances was making 90m/h plus in a Moros ratting.

A tengu pilot with decent skills can make 80-100mil an hour in sanctums, providing there isnt many pilots in system. ccp changed teh respawn rates so you need to wait for them to respawn

Assuming you're running gurista sanctum for which tengu has the bonus (kin dmg bonus) and you have 2x sanctums to yourself which you run uninterrupted. Anything but that, tengu is slowcake (well maybe serps as well).
For example. I run sanshas and i hit about 25m/tick with around 900+ sansha weak dps.

Hands down the c5 can give better isk, but problem is you have to find new c5 systems if you wana keep that high income, I used to do them with 3 abaddons that I controlled myself back when they first came out... in 2-3 hours I could make 500-900 mil, but then I had also cleared the system pritty much and had to find new one... now I do sanctums with 2 carriers, can pritty much finish them within 10-20 mins depending on which size it is. thats between 100-140mil/hour of cause thats with 2 chars (when I focus with this one char, I can push it up to 80-100mil/hour on a good day
Alot of people claim they can make 100+ mil with their 900 dps ships, but I havn't seen proff from any of them yet, I would love to see a screenshot of their wallet ticks for a full hour duration...

c5 especially if you have the ability to spawn and complete the escalation waves.

This man speaks the true. People exaggerate when they say they can solo with subcap make 100m easily. You need about 1200 DPS to push to 80-90m/hour of uninterrupted ratting. Also depends what rats/ship u use, as a few jam/TD cycles can drop ur isk/hour rate by 5-10m.

Yeah I agree, or I totally suck at mission running, Which I do btw :P I run missions with a Mach, a full set of crystal implants, and damage hardwires and level 5 in both Gallente and Minmatar Battleship skill with T2 large projectiles spanking out some 1200 dps in minmatar space and have only seen about 45m an hour at best, I cannot be bothered to salvage tbh but I cannot see that not salvaging is gonna cost me that much.
Sig.
What's your honest opinion? The one thing I can never be wrong about. most everything actually :P |

that's 114-142m / hour you must make value by character, it means nothing if not. i was hoping more anyway given what i can earn on c4, that's really not much more for the pain it must be. ---------------- ** Wormhole Trading ** |

Consider this also, the total value of drops in the entire wormhole system, the potential (assuming no one els has been there already) is quite a bit more in the class 5 than the class 4, I could normally clean out a class 4 within hours, but it would have have got me a few hundred mil, where the class 5 gave me quite a bit extra, but thats off the top of my head, its been about a year since I done solo(with 3 alts) wormholes

Edited by: Wabs on 24/02/2011 14:59:05 we live in a c5 wh with c6 static. We do ops with like 10-15 ppl in a c6 at a time. Usually about 100-120 mil hour per char.
thats with 3-4 guardians, and 7-8 dps t3's doing the site. also have a damnation running 7 warfare links that gets payed and a scout on every Wormhole in the system that gets a bit of isk too. + the FC gets 150% pay
if you leave out the scouts / booster / fc pay its probably more lik 150-200 mil an hour.
doing this with a triage carrier + t3 dps makes it even more worthwhile beacause you can have 3 more ppl in dps ships instead of a guardian. dont think you can go over 250mil isk/h tho, thats really pushing it.
im not sure but if you bring 3-4 RR tengus into a c4 the isk per hour wont be a lot lower, sure you can get 150 mil / hour or more if you fit the ships right and have good skills. also soloing c3 wh's made me atleast 100 mil an hour on the sleeper tags alone. Pimp legion i did that in dont know if you can still do that, neuts suck...

It's not uncommon to pull 100m/hour per character doing incursions either. Something to think about maybe. _____________________________________________

Could you make any comments about how the recent sleeper neut changes have affected your cap escalations with triage carrier? Did you have to make any adjustments? I've been wondering, but haven't been able to find much info about how to fit & use a carrier for escalations in C5/C6 now that the Sleepless Guardians all have substantial neut.

And how to get into an incursion? Its not a tree full of apples and you do need a fleet.
