So let's say you're in a C2 and it connects to a C4. Doesn't it sound wierd that the c4 side can only bring so many ships into the C2 side but yet the C2 side can bring more ships into the C4 side? If I'm on the C2 side and I wanted to collapse it, why would the mass limitations be that of C4? Conversely, if you're on the C4 side, why would the limitations be that of a C2?

I think you're confused.
Whenever you have a wormhole connecting two W-space systems, one side will be labeled as a K162 and the other will be labeled as whatever type of wormhole it is. It's the same wormhole on both sides.
For example, lets say you find an E175 in your C3, which leads into a C4.
In the C4 that it leads to, it will be labeled as a K162.
BOTH SIDES, the C3 side and the C4 side, will have the same stable mass, max jump mass, and time limitations, and can bring the same amount of ships through (2,000,000,000kg)
The C3 folks could jump around 19 Typhoons into the C4 before it would collapse, and vice versa.

E175, D845, X702... these are the type of WH.
K162 is a generic tag for "the other end" of a WH.
If you see a K162, it means someone on the other end already scanned it down and warped to it. So if you see K162s in your WH system, that means you potentially have invaders to worry about. |

The above posters have it covered. If you see a K162, jump through and note the designation of the wormhole on the other side, then look up the mass values for *that*. Those will be the correct figures.

Yep! It sounds weird, probably because it's not true.
Malkev's correct, a wormhole has the same stats whether you enter it from the K162 end or the 'source' end.
