Locator: yes.
Find a L4 agent that you have access to for galaxy-wide location services. If you only have that much standing with a few corps, you can narrow the search to them. |

Keeping with the theme of this forum, I would reccomend joining FW and running defensive plexes until you have the standing to run them with your faction.

Pffft he should do offensive plexes in a stabbed merlin, he would get standing and a ludicrous amount of isk at the same time. I also suggest doing it for Caldari, because we're awesome. -Death is nothing, but to live defeated and inglorious is to die daily. |

There is also a channel called "Locates are US" that you can access and ask for locators there. |

as mentioned above you go visit a locater agent that you have the appropriate standings with and select run locate instead of offer me a mission. you will have to pay a fee and then wait for an email from the agent which will arrive maybe 10 minutes or so later which will say:
1. your target is in xxxx station in xxxx system or
2. your target is in xxxxx system
if you get option 2 that means your target is in space ratting, missionining, mining or whatever or logged out in space. |

.....wait what? This is actually a feature in game? This is brilliant. Are Locator Agents different from normal agents or do they also offer missions. Im so hyped to try this out. Thanks OP |

It is a regular mission agent. Not all agents provide this service. Most corporations that offer missions in high sec have at least a few agents who will also offer locating service. The nullsec pirate factions that i have run missions for in the past have not offered the service. There may be some that do. I just never found them.
Level one and two agents who offer the service will often come back with a message that they cannot find the target. I never get that message from level 3 or 4 agetns. The cost of the service is nominal. It depends on standing with the agent (i believe) as well as the level of the agent.
I do not know if the find agent feature in game lets you select locaters only but i know that there are some out of game web sites that will let you search agents by ability to run locate so you can find a bunch of them. When my corp was still in high sec grefing and war decking i used to run cal navy locaters in the stations in nourvakaiken and tunntaras. There were 3 between them so i could basically go run three locates at a time quickly. You can only run one locate at a time, per agent, so finding a place that has a cluster of agents you can use can be beneficial. Also keep in mind it is based upon standings. So if you have good faction standing you might still be able to run locates even if you dont have good corp standing. I had a few agents i never ran missions for i used to run locates with in gallente space because i had good caldari standings. |

Yeah, they do exist. For instance, here are all the Angel locators: http://eve-agents.com/index.dxd?Faction=500011&Locator=1 |
