Edited by: Reaver Babe on 13/03/2011 20:04:52 Okay, overall I have very very strong skills with a good amount of SP (over 20m+) with the ability to fly and fully t2 fit all of their sub-BS ships in the game, both T1 and T2. But because I only have Amarr BS IV and Large Energy Turret 4 I'm somewhat limited in what I can do PVE wise. I need ideas and fittings for a good Amarr BS to use for level 4 mission running vs. EM-weak NPCs that doesn't depend on having t2 guns to work. Everything else can be T2, just not the guns. Also all fitting skills are at 5.
Basically I don't know whether I should be using the Apoc or Abaddon and whether I should be using Pulse or Beam. Again, fitting suggestions welcome. Thanks.

With T1 guns, beams most likely, as Pulse really needs Scorch to be worthy.
[Abaddon, T1 guns] Large Armor Repairer II Armor EM Hardener II Armor EM Hardener II Armor Thermic Hardener II Heat Sink II Heat Sink II Heat Sink II
Cap Recharger II Cap Recharger II Cap Recharger II Tracking Computer II, Optimal Range
Mega Modulated Energy Beam I, Multifrequency L Mega Modulated Energy Beam I, Multifrequency L Mega Modulated Energy Beam I, Multifrequency L Mega Modulated Energy Beam I, Multifrequency L Mega Modulated Energy Beam I, Multifrequency L Mega Modulated Energy Beam I, Multifrequency L Mega Modulated Energy Beam I, Multifrequency L Mega Modulated Energy Beam I, Multifrequency L
Large Capacitor Control Circuit I Large Capacitor Control Circuit I Large Capacitor Control Circuit I
You really need cap skills to pull this off though.
...Then when you stopped to think about it. All you really said was Lalala. |

Easy one: Paladin
4x faction tachyon 3x traction beam
2x cap recharger 1x TS webber 1x tracking computer
2x faction EANM 1x DCII 3x faction HS a- or x-type LAR (or use rat specific hardeners so you can use a cheaper LAR)
2x ccc rig
This fit does like 1050+ dps with faction ammo and has plenty of tank for any mission. The tracking computer and webber makes sure you can hit anything.

although this is a good permanent solution, i doubt he can actually USE one atm (considering he doesn't even have T2 gun skills)
i suggest THIS build. the armageddon isn't exactly skill intensive and with Ogres/sentries it does quite a bit of dps

OP, as per Post #3, run with the Apoc then branch out to Abaddon, then finally Paladin/Nightmare (if you have some Caldari skills).
Simplifying Apoc vs Abaddon : The Apoc has solid cap & tank but lacks dps (even with the better dmg projection). The Abaddon has solid dps, but has significant trouble with cap and its tank varies.
On the sideline, as for the talk on the Armageddon, it's a drone boat. Sub-par guns & dmg projection, sub-par drones. Fitting wise, your focus is split between making the guns better or the drones better. You might as well use a Dominix - which is superior is most (if not all) respects.
Lastly, you can go straight with the Abaddon, as long as your cap & support skills are maxed/almost maxed. Having maxed Controlled Burst gunnery skill is crucial for this boat to shine.
