Having more people vote, would almost or could slip into control of CCP rather then influence.
Up until Rev's rampage, I was thinking things were going swimmingly well. He is the first person I have met that hasn't really won yet. Suppose CSM voting issues would be a runner up or could be a runner up perhaps. Well only December will tell, I have high hopes as the minutes pretty much stated they have control of that, and as 43 pages in general have shown there is no real opposition on the forum community just the normal people who meta game to keep things going their way. But the biggest hurdle will actually be the CSM members as to whether they like being a minority or whether they would like to expand the voters and those who contribute to the community. I have high hopes, actually I will edit that statement too, I have high hopes and a big mouth Oh and as I started this subject due to the Bad PR CSM 7 were getting I must say how impressed I am with the amount of contact Seleene is now showing the community, Rev might not be happy but even the tongue lashing he has gotten is actually a better response than he would have gotten in any CSM in the past. And yes that was me giving praise to a Null candidate, as sickening as it maybe the visibility this CSM is moving towards and the openness so far cannot be argued with. But how does this help us ? DO tell. ******'s Courts also had "Openness". Doesn't mean they were terribly helpful to anyone. Giving the CSM a larger percentage of voters, giving them more influence in discussions with CCP and giving us a more representative CSM. Who does it help? well not people clinging to their minorities power. Any Spelling, gramatical and literary errors made by me are included free of charge.

Suppose CSM voting issues would be a runner up or could be a runner up perhaps. Yeah but people can be swayed by perceptions so easily dude. Most of the people who think they have won, think it's because they have a new barge. Barges were NEVER the reason the mining industry sucked - I'm not saying the improvements weren't nice or welcomed. However, it's no different from normal poltics. Most people if you ask them if they would like a tax cut will also say yes, and consider it a win if they got one. These are the people I'm talking about when I mention the "peanut gallery".
Well I do agree that low sec and null industry is pretty bad, and lots have people have said it needs "love". Those places are hard to handle, but so far you are the only one I have met who has taken it so personally.
Also I wouldn't say the new barges were made to improve low and null industry, to improve the industry side only, faster ore strips or cloaking might be needed, but cloaking might hurt the pvp side or other parts of low sec. It is hard to improve low or renter's issues.
Actually if you follow EveNews24 they are the only people I know so far, that care about small stuff in low and null as much as you do. They even wanted to start reporting on other games cause of those issues. (At least awhile ago, haven't read or seen their current mission statement.) I will not be voting in the CSM election, so you need to go vote to make up for me. |

I am not taking "industry" in the internet spaceship game "personally".
Once someone starts to attack me, deny reality or otherwise start to act with complicity or duplicity with regard to what has been done as opposed to what was said - I will argue.
When it was voting week, and I was making Pro-Seleene statements along with all the other CSM's and their tagalongs - noone said I was taking it personally - they said "Thanks".
I see this as no different.
There's a view to be expressed, and obviously some people who got voted in are now playing shenanigans that CCP want them to play. Denial, Rationalising or otherwise refuting the logic of the fact that many issues have't even been raised in the minutes, is not going to change those FACTS.
If you want to actually raise a point here I'd be grateful. CSM7 Skype Leak

Well mostly with CCP shenanigans, I never thought the offer of shareholder, was a distractionary tool to confuse them and keep them from bringing up issues. At least from my view, the CSM want that more then anything else, so it would be the biggest distraction tool. Maybe you see others.
Well CSM talks to CCP with skype a lot, but at the same time, not sure if that is important to you, Suppose the minutes are the big fish to catch. I am not sure what to categorize your issues as well. As renters issues, or industry in low sec issues and other titles.
As for my opinions of CSM, I did like the candidates, but couldn't find one to invest in, like you found one. I was happy Seleene got chair. But I also have a sig too. Which I should thank you as well, for helping to make up for my absence. Mostly mean, I do like the CSM, but you really want them to work (Work actually means a system operating well) a whole lot, which as I gave up on pretty much in a way. so it will be hard for me to contribute to your cause. I will not be voting in the CSM election, so you need to go vote to make up for me. |

Yes Revolution Rising is quite busy and seems to be doing a great job, if you dig around enough to find it.
But people should not have to.
Revolution Rising needs to post more on these forums even if it is just links to what he is doing so people can find it easily.
This is one of the more head down bums up alt posters but the problem isn't his work it is his visibility. Yes he will see more complaints from people as time goes on if he is not more visible.
It is not a failure of what he is doing (except maybe mining Spod instead of better ores or not being clever enough to create or copy a successful economic model for his mining corp) but it is a problem of not being seen doing it.
In normal political speak, get out there and post like a baby. Posting like a baby does not help anything but people see you doing something and make you feel better about your self.
And yeah I probably should still pretend I have a blog this multi post crap is annoying.
To close it out from the Title it is not Revolution Rising Stupidity, more just inability to adapt. The last couple shitposting alts have had huge demons to fight and have made a splash by just moaning and complaining, now that we have endless amounts of that Revolution Rising needs to generate its own press.
He has no major demons to fight just poking and prodding. So at least do it with a banner and a band behind you to show EVE you are doing it.
In other news, listen in to Declarations of War for a regular update of CSM activity.
