When will more info on the anom changes be released? That's one of the few parts of the dominion sov system that actually works well and makes normally "lousy" space somewhat worthwhile...will these changes make vast tracts of 0.0 revert to being useless wasteland, or will they primarily focus on incentivizing ownership of the better truesec space (ie will it be the carrot or the stick?) |

Originally by: Naga Tokiba Excelent CCP Soundwave - thanks.
Small annoying stuff: Make comma on my numeric keyboard act like a period, thus no more trouble when entering prices.
Yes, that would be nice.
It would also be nice to have k and m and g suffices enables, e.g. inputting 240m instead of 240000000. EVE often uses very large numbers, and it's tedious and error-prone.
Also, all numbers larger than 10000 should be shown with a thousand separator in all cases, including ship stats in "show info".
And dump superflous decimals. In some cases "show info" on ship stats shows 3 or 4 or 5 decimal places for a number that is well over 100.
"Show info" also shows each of the four resists on its own line, so you got one line for EM, one line for exp, one line for kin, one line for therm. Repeated again and again, because you have shield resists, armour resists and hull resists.
Please collect these resists on fewer lines. One line for the four shield resists, one line for the four armour resists, one line for the four hull resists. That means much less scrolling up and down, and hence our mouse wheels will last longer.

So now ship fitting are stored on the server, same as bookmarks.
Please then can you make it so bookmarks can be shared by corp/alliance just like ship fittings?!!

Hell yeah!
Great Dev blog, I especially like the parts Originally by: Devblog When you create a fleet, you're made squad commander automatically, so you don't have to move around manually.
Removing bookmarks can now be done from the right click menu in space. Having to go through people and places was a damn hassle and hopefully this will improve bookmark usability.
Ever had 8000 items to repackage and one broken item which breaks everything? From now on, items that cannot be repackaged won't stop the entire repackaging operation.
When using the autopilot, your waypoints will be highlighted so you can see where on the route they are. This owns.
Since boarding a ship to strip it is too much work, we've added the ability to strip fittings from unpiloted ships.
Awesome work!

Lots of nice tweaks, except more portraits in more places Option to disable please, along with not automatically loading portraits everywhere else too? Doesn't seem like an issue when you have (pretty much) unlimited downloads, but when you have to stick to 100Mb a month or face úúúú bills all those portraits are a real pita. (To give some idea I have ~16Mb of portraits on HDD atm, having for various reasons spent very litle time on EVE since Jan, and with portraits turned off pretty much everywhere they can be, when I'm actually on EVE normally I'll easily come into contact with as many random people as I have in a few days since Jan, and thats a big chunk of data if I'm on my second connection )
Other than that keep these waves of small changes coming, so many of these address the little niggling things that can be the diference between a fun few hours in EVE and cursing bits of the ui because it's just not being helpfull, as someone already said these make more people happy than big dollops of new (possibly broken) Stuff

Beau's wish: That scrolling in windows would be fixed. An example: if you're in Firefox and viewing a web page (such as this one) - you have a scroll bar to the right, and if you click in the "open" area of the scroll bar the screen will go one page up or down for each click. In EVE, the page jumps to where you clicked. It's inconsistent with most OS UIs and gets annoying.

Stop screwing with anomalies.
You already screwed them up enough with Tyranis 1.1.1.

If you really wanted to work on anamolies some suggestions.
1. Fix it so they despawn after all the buildings and rats are destroyed like they are suppose to. (Currently since Tyrannis 1.1.1 they hang around for hours). 2. Fix it so they respawn once completed within 5 minutes so that a system can better sustain more people. (Related to 1 above and probably a symptom of the same bug). 3. Fix it again so that the NPC buildings count since we don't get anything from them and if you don't shoot them it can take a whole day to get the stupid anomaly to respawn. (They counted prior to Tyrannis 1.1.1).

Much love. That said, can you be a bit more specific about the anomaly changes? Is this a nerf to -0.01 systems, a buff to -1.00 systems, or both? If both, where would you say the break-even point is?

Concerning anomalys; fine, good! Way to go!
Concerning singature plexes such as magnetometric in high-sec; any statistics on how often these are "used" by the player base?! They are absolutely worthless, so a "tuning" here would be a small thing for CCP but a huge leap for those with internet and spaceships (thats us! The players!)

Also, can you confirm - I'm 95% sure the anomaly changes you're referring to will be for Nullsec? Is this right? Or will the already weak highsec sites be in any way penalised through these changes? - Vote Trebor Daehdoow for CSM and Chairman of CSM. Trebor's Campaign Manifesto |

Originally by: CCP Soundwave As a part of the "equal value space makes this game boring" initiative, we've changed the way anomalies work. The quality of anomalies will depend on the systems truesec - the better the truesec, the better the spawns. CCP Greyscale is writing a blog on this exact change, coming soonTM
Humm, This should accelerate the slow death of IT in Delve to a much faster "Invasion of Delve III", also soonÖ. I seem to remember that one of the reasons delve was so valuable was not just the mix of moons but also the rather nice true sec.
(incidentally: xAlt-0153 = xÖ where TM is a single character)

Your personal ship fittings are going to be stored on the server, giving you the same functionality available to corp fittings. This means access to your personal fittings, regardless what computer you're using
uhm, I'm pretty sure there will be a hardcap limit on number of personnel fittings stored in the database? Just like for corporate fittings (not more than 50 fittings possible). This would really be a serious limitation for many.
So please let us choose if we want to store a certain fitting serverside or locally. kthx

Edit: Also, love the little things.
Currently, NPC ECM is a set chance. Each rat has a set chance every cycle to jam you - period. No matter how much ECCM you put on it wouldn't matter, they didn't use the strength formulas. 50% Jam chance? Always 50%, no matter what you did.
Now it will work like "regular" ecm.
Anyone who fights Guristas will be joyous, Gallente FWers have SLIGHTLY something to be happy about (though are still screwed over in comparison), and anyone who runs level 4s and gets "The Assault (Guristas)" on a regular basis is currently sobbing uncontrollably with happiness.
