ok, ok the bq gives. well i want to become the military director and train the little guys who are coming up as fighters in my corp. But in my drunken stuper(send beer and plenty of it!!) can't seem to think of a effective way to take the kids out for training. I mean what do you guys do take em all out on the shooting range, pod and tell them that's there pvp lesson for today.(don't tempt me im a bad gurl). lol but come to think of it, my ceo might not like that(even tho i would) ahem.....so what do you guys do? oh yea send beer and plenty of it!! eh? wadda ya mean "long live the king" ? |

Talk to Dissolution, apparently they enjoy giving free PvP lessons to new players
Regardless of their desire to pvp or not.

Get them to fight each other somewhere, always good fun and cheap if you give them baby frigs

U can't teach new ppl skills in PvP unless u have them urself to begin with.
Try learning some basic tactics, loadouts & strats, then once u have learned them, just tell them to ur newer members, then get them to practice them on each other. Actually doing it is the best way of learning it
If u knew these things u wouldn't have to ask here.
Amaarian women eh, they're so dumb, no wonder ur techies made ur armour more thick, gives u time to think what to do next.

Our Corp plan...
Get A BPO for a good all round frig e.g. Tristan.. Build a shed-load..
Go out and have 2vs2 fights, or 1cruiser vs 2frigs..
Impossible to learn EW (using and defending against) with NPC rats..
Plus, occasionally open fire on a corp mate. Keeps them on their toes, and they are bound to respond :)
Just stop short of ship destruction, and ideally near a station... ISS - Information Science Security |

Show them first what are warp scrambling, energy drain, armor tanking and such then you can take them to a blockade or set an escort mission with an industrial filled with ammo, something like that.
If the indy makes it to 0.0 space in one piece you can share the profit with them .
The first time I have been warp scrambled I didn't know I could move my ship away lol, show them the basics so they wont be surprised.

Well...
->Browse sites for PvP fits....The more you can get the better. Then test it with your conscripts
->Try to make gangs of "good guys/ bad guys" (can be gilrz also ^^) and try to setup tactics, interceptions methods and use complementary ship setups.
->Create a Teamspeak server and use it. It's necessary in PvP. The less you speak on it, the better. It will be used by fleet/gang leaders to synchronize action, give orders, target priority...Just inform your leader when you leave/warp/are scrambled so he/she can act accordingly and manage the battle easily... dont forget the most important lesson for the future: HOW TO WARP YOUR POD OUT.
- hint: once you see your ship is definetelly going down... prepare warp (right click space and select warp to location). The old method was just to double click a stellar item till you warped to it - now that thats been removed you need to plan this a bit better.
...new sig coming up Ravenal - Fate is what you make of it. |

That doesn't work, the menu resets (after lag ) once you change into your pod and you have to reselect everything...
You could set a destination then hit AP once your ship blows...
Or do what a lot of people are doing nowadays, just logout

I don't consider logout as a tactic in itself, unless you are totally defenseless (industrial/mining barge...).
As you said, true tactic would be : -avoid being in this situation -set a destination in your autopilot before battle, and when you are going to loose your ship, initiate warp by clicking on the autopilot...Sometimes you can also save your ship (\_/) (O.o) (> <)=Oveur (proof) "Jumping 50 systems I can like, have sex 150 times during that period" |

Tell them to read this, this and this (although the 2 latter are for pve mostly it seems). Tell them what's good and bad with different fittings, tactics and so on - when to apply what.

Set up a frigate tournament in-corp. You can blast each other all day long for cheap and give them experience. Have them practice in frigs using EW to tackle a cruiser. Stuff like that.

Do a sort of capture the flag in your corp. One giant secure can filled with tritanium at one planet and 2 more at 2 other planets. Make 2 teams and then it's free game till all but one is down. Object of the game: Get all trit from the base can to your teams can.
You can even make it so that everyone has one spare frigate to use.
Teams will need tactics since getting trit from your own can is as attractive as getting from base can
Better to try and fail, then to fail due to not trying |
