You are quit ignorant by assuming that slaves are purely Matari.
For the more sophisticated work I prefer smarter slaves.
And you wantonly display your own stupidity by proudly demonstrating your low levels of reading and comprehension. I said this is what the Matari have been enduring for centuries...this sort of treatment. At no point in time did I say that I was sure the slaves in question were or were not Matari, just that we have, historically, endured this sort of treatment for a very long time.
Since you seem to be sort of slow, let me dumb it down:
Amarr bad. Amarr hurt us. We not like it. We sick of it. They do this stuff to us, and others, but mostly, to us. For long time too.
PS. The word is "quite" not "quit".

Heck if allmost a whole race is held under slavery, does that say something bad about the slavers or the lack of backbone of said race?

You murdered a child and his father. "Im sorry" a few prayers, and "re-education" goes beyond insulting, to the realm of ridiculous...and now you're going to "find and help" the child's mother?
I want every Amarrian, or whoever, to let me know what an appropriate response would be if I were to inform you all, publically and proudly, that I was holding an Amarrian child and his father captive, for years, forcing them to work for me, and then that I murdered them and displayed their heads to the rest of my captives when the child stole food.

The Matari Freedom Fighters don't care if we are showing that we are changing, that we as a culture are starting to release the slaves under our care. They don't care because while we are changing, they are not.
And....this is why we will never have peace. If you were changing, you would be punishing a murderer, not shouting at us.

What do you all expect the response of Matari "freedom fighters" to be? How would you behave, were those roles reversed?
I have been trying very, very hard to see things from points of view beyond my own. I can clearly see that I am a member of a small minority by doing so. Many of you are doing your best to convince every Matari that New Eden would be a far better place without Amarrians in it, fueling that fire. Is this what you want?
Stop. Think. Then open your mouth. If your objective is to display how cruel and twisted your people are, dont change a thing, please. If it is anything else, maybe... try to prove it?

Yes, your cowardly empire hides behind crews of our enslaved sisters and brothers, forcing this very moral dilema on every Matari who takes up arms. Convenient tactic, and certainly the tactic of an enlightened, civilized people.
Yes, your barbaric empire will not be satisfied until we have been exterminated or assimilated, wholly, into it. You hate us. You hate our way of life. You hate that you have failed, repeatedly, to defeat us. Seven hundred years of slavery was unable to break us.
What were you trying to say? We get it. Congratulations. I can see that a long road lies ahead of those who would work for change in the Empire from within, and I wish them the most success. Understandably, however, we must be prepared for the very real chance that their attempts fail, and that those who only wish to cause more damage us will prevail.
