Hi!
Started fiddling around some Tengu fits in EFT and this is my fit:
[Tengu, Current] Ballistic Control System II Ballistic Control System II Ballistic Control System II Ballistic Control System II
Invulnerability Field II Photon Scattering Field II Shield Boost Amplifier II Shield Boost Amplifier II Gist B-Type Large Shield Booster Cap Recharger II
Heavy Missile Launcher II, Scourge Heavy Missile Heavy Missile Launcher II, Scourge Heavy Missile Heavy Missile Launcher II, Scourge Heavy Missile Heavy Missile Launcher II, Scourge Heavy Missile Heavy Missile Launcher II, Scourge Heavy Missile Heavy Missile Launcher II, Scourge Heavy Missile
Medium Capacitor Control Circuit I Medium Capacitor Control Circuit II Medium Capacitor Control Circuit II
Tengu Defensive - Amplification Node Tengu Electronics - CPU Efficiency Gate Tengu Engineering - Augmented Capacitor Reservoir Tengu Offensive - Accelerated Ejection Bay Tengu Propulsion - Intercalated Nanofibers
This Tengu gets 782 dps tank and 525 dps firepower with all level 5 skills.
However, when I change Char to my own skills, I only get 682 dps tank and 389 dps firepower AFTER changing affecting skills on all modules to 5 (rest of my skills are as my char).
My question is, where do I find these magical skills that somehow affect tank and dps but are not in the affecting skill menus in EFT?
Thanks

Subsystem skills maybe? You can right click on each subsystem and change the skills there too, I didn't notice it at first.

and to post on your fit, change two of the ccc's to rigors, drop a boost amp and use 2 gistii b-type smalls. 90% of non ****fit tengus either use 1med booster 2 amp , or 2 small 1amp.

afterburner and fuel catalyst....you need it. tengu speed tanks.
lose the large booster, get the gisti b medium. run 1 sba. More tnak than you will ever need (assuming lv 4 missions....not sure about a solo maze fit tbh, never had the fun). Keep one CCC II, rest rigor. Your setup will now be permarun. Without that cpa recharger...pull it and put in something else. Or run the 2 small gist b's as mentioned....works well too. tried both, happy with both.
You are springing for a shiny shield booster...look at cn bcu's for a nice pimp touch (there already with an expensive sb). Yes there was a recent threadnought about cn bcu's...yes its small dps...small dps adds up over time. especially when triple webbed and even 10 more dps on a web frig is 10 dps its dying faster.

Yeah, definatly do not need that large booster. I have a pithi c-type on mine and have had no issues with it so far, although the ones mentioned above me are better options.
Also, I foresee a thread move in the future. . |

meh...its a skill and fit question lol.
EFT and tengu funny. all level 5 gets me a nice dps boost...but not sure how. Got sub 5. Only direct dps skills I lack are HML spec 5 (t2 hml tengu what I run) and warhead upgrade 5. 5 those by hand though on my char and its not the same as all level 5 iirc. Not that I'd train hml spec 5 till one day when at 100 mil sp and have nothing else pressing to train really lol. Looks like a time sink to me, others mileage may vary.

check out Pyfa (another program for fitting). It has one nice option: you can see which skills and/or modules affects your ship or module in current fit. So to get answer to your question you simply use char "All 5" and check info page "Affected by" (or something like). And you see skills you need to train =)
