I would be interested seems like a well run corp. Who do you run missions for? I ask cause my amarr and caldri ranks are in the toliet and I role-play an impetus soldier fighing for the removal of amarr from the galaxy.

I feel, having seen this thread that I should mention to anyone wanting to join this corp to be a little wary. I saw a thread on the forums (link below) asking for them to be in an alliance as they were wardecced by a 4-man corp and were losing. Here is the link:
http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=1498135
I spoke with Tarrn, all seemed reasonable but they seem more of an indy based corp and I would warn people that they may be joining in order to participate in a war. If Tarrn can clarify this war is over that would be cool :)
The thing that put me off inviting them to our alliance is the fact that they were in an alliance for a week before quitting before, which to me shows a lack of loyalty.
My two cents anyway,
Ilder

You can never avoid war. No matter what. You need to realize that and take steps to defend yourself and your corp mates.
We did,

Im a veteran in real life, so the alpha company couldn't be a better fit for me. its unreal how organized everything is, and the website and forum is unlike anything iv'e ever seen for a corp in eve. at first i was skeptical about the high tax, but i see now, it goes into good use. great group of people, and a mature atmosphere, i couldn't ask for more.

This is my feedback regarding this corporation and its recruitment process.
I originally noticed this post, and upon checking out the corporation's website, decided to find out more. Upon starting a conversation with the CEO, I was blocked without so much as a "hello." That should have been a red flag, but I decided to talk to another recruiter and see if the problem could be sorted.
I spoke to Angel, who was very helpful, and was led through the recruitment process. The process included filling out a form, making a forum account and making an introduction post. I was accepted, made to take an oath, and added to the corporate roster. After moving my ships and applying, my application was accepted.
In less than two minutes, I was removed from the corporation, with the only reason given being "This is a brand new account. Not enough in game history. I highly doubt you can fly a battlecruiser effectively with your current skills."
No conversation, no mail, nothing. Why bother making a person go through all these steps? It shows a significant lack of respect for other peoples' time.
Apparently, the corporation is also at war, which makes me think that the CEO is simply looking to pad his member list with high-skillpoint pilots who would do the fighting for him.
My personal recommendation: be extremely cautious when spending your time applying to this corporation; the advertisements and the reality seem to be no less different than those of a fast-food hamburger. You've been warned.
PS: I also noticed that my last post was deleted on the corporate forums, fortunately I had it cached:
"No problem, I guess I will look for employment elsewhere. Though initially accepting an application, making a willing recruit go through all the steps including taking an oath, and then removing him after exactly one minute in the corporation seems a little odd. Especially before giving the person a chance to prove himself during some kind of trial period. You could have rejected the application instead instead of creating a 1-minute employment history entry that might be difficult to explain to other corporations' recruiters. Best of luck."

I hate to break it to you Angel but you have a bit of a skewed view of how well the war is going for your so-called 'war orientated corp'...
Lets see now, we have 30 kills against you guys and you have 6 against us - I'd call that a victory in our favour wouldn't you? Linky.
I should point out to anyone interested in joining ACNET that this war came about as a result of Tarrn being an arse of a corp leader and a generally unsavory character in general. We were consequently hired (and continue to be hired) to mete out a certain measure of revenge for our client and reinforce our client's displeasure at the way he was dealt with.
Additionally, most of these posts by ACNET members are biased somewhat by the fact that Tarrn pays them per post on this thread And quite a lot of the people posting in this thread have already moved on.
Oh, free bump
