Originally by: Kethas Protagonist How/why did you finance the purchase and research of, but not manufacture off of, BC/BS BPOs with borrowed funds? Holding a BPO that's undergoing ME/PE research doesn't actually provide any income to pay bonds back with.
To be clear, I'm curious, not skeptical.
Ive reread this again, and i think i have a better understanding of what you were asking.
I started buying BPO's because it seems a great place to put profits made from trading. They also make great collateral. The research part came tbh as an after thought. We now had these bpos and decided why not use the services that some of the 3rd parties provide and research our collateral while we continue to make isk trading.
So each time we paid off a debt, we sunk the profits into a bpo and then started a new offering. The last round of Bonds however was launched for the purpose of buying bpo's. We used some isk for down payments and the rest went into trading.
This is what brought us to this ipo idea and the discussion. After these bonds pay off, we will have a nice researched set of bpos.
On a side note, you didnt deserve my snarky remark. Sometimes we all have our moments of smartass'ism, and that one was mine. Sorry.

What is your current nav and will you be having an audit to confirm the figure?
While I can't confirm his total current NAV, I can say that I am holding 13 billion ISK worth of collateral in the form of BPOs.

Where is the business plan? What is your previous manufacturing experience?
Plans for share structure, shareholders equity, public exposure?
Details of current liabilities? Collaterals, etc.?
Why trust someone named Stealing Honest?
As it stands, there is nothing to discuss.

You get to speak like this, when you do the same for your entity/s champ.

..Thanks for clearing some things up and providing some cleanup PR. If this IPO is 100% locked down and fully collateralised I don't see why the bond won't fill.

Good Morning Block
Your statements are valid, there is not a lot of details yet. However i feel there is plenty to discuss. Already people have posted opinions for what the feel i need to include or exclude when i present my business plan.
I would hope that with your vast knowledge you could also place some pointers into this thread for me to work with. It would be quite helpful.

The base offering of this IPO would be in the 10b / 20b range. It would replace all of our current bonds sets.
SHSG
that reads to me as payoff all old debts.
i guess i am wrong as you said you would not be doing this ?

This IPO would not be used to pay off current bond investors. Those bonds are running fine on their own and will pay off before we launch any type of IPO.

Im slowly working on this, and atm am trying to work with Candy Oshea's opportunity cost info that she laid out yesterday. I hope to have something rough for people to help me correct fairly soon.
Originally by: Brock Nelson My suggestion is this: Make it completely public, 100% IPO with no set interest/dividend payment amount. This way, you're not subjected to making an x-amount of isk to pay to shareholders. The pressure will be off of you to make certain amount of isk.
Thinking about this very close too.

Let me very very clear on this point. All Bonds SHSG has open, will come to a close and pay in full before we decide to try to launch an IPO.
One last thing before i run off to night class. The thing i am sure of is, we would put up all the BPO's for this IPO for lockdown or 3rd party and work from copies. When the Bonds close we will have about 16b NPC value of researched BPO's. Our focus now is to work on what Block has said, and the info and insight others have also put forward and create a proper rough draft proposal.
