So ever since incursion, my activity rate has went from 4-5 hours playing right after work...not literally not even logging in anymore.
I have not logged in since incursion 1.4, it tried to download the patch and it corrupted my game files and repair.exe was not working so I just sorta went out and looked around, went to the gym...went for a walk with the dog and thought to myself.....wtf am I doing.
Tried to go back onto eve, logged in for 30 seconds to see me docked and just could not cease the willpower to undock and go do some pvp.
It feels like the game is empty, all the things that made it fun for me three years ago is gone or nerfed (web nerf, thanks CCP....i never liked gallente anyways)
Anyone else feel like since incursion the game has just turned bad, for good?

Nope, I'm still enjoying the game and logging on as usuall.
Maybe you need a break or to find another game. Good luck, fly safe!

Yeah you're just burned out. EVE does it to me sometimes, but leave it for a few months and you'll suddenly really need to play it again.
Well in my case anyway.

Had the same thing here, just couldn't find the motivation to get back into Eve after taking a short break. Got a few days left on this acc and another that I had ran out a few days ago, rl isn't so bad tbh, getting pretty annoyed by the constant blob fests in the local supermarket/trade hub though.
I wish I could say it was definitely 100% the 'games' fault for my loss of interest, but I think it was also that I had, through my own actions and responsibilities, turned the game into a kind of twisted part time job that I had to pay for. Like ya say Gibbo, 3 years ago this was a heckava game, I started my other acc in early 08 and I used to love it.
I think the only thing I will miss is my corpies and alliance mates.

Edited by: Gibbo5771 on 13/04/2011 10:47:10 I hate breaks, this one time I took a break with this girl....well you know the rest :D
But eve never turns its back on you :D, just CCP.
Guess I will just keep my accounts subbed and login when I need to change a skill or when I feel like pvp'in :)
Eidt:
I mainly solo pvp and recently I have just been getting WTFBBQ'd by massive blobs all setup to counter me...it probably has something to do with me not feeling up to it.

Just don't try to 'play through' the times when you lose interest, that was the mistake I made. A total break for a while will relight the flame
Edit 1.4.2.9001: Sausage fingered typo's fixed

Any hole is a goal, including worm holes.
Just set a long skill training and come back in a month or so, repeat till you feel like playing or need more $$$ and cancel subscription.

There are times i simply donŠt want do do anything in eve. I donŠt want to mission, mine, explore, feed my production lines, play the market. Usually this happens summertimes, when weather is fine, where i prefer to ride my bike.
When those times come up, i log in in the morning, see if the skill tree is fine, and log off.
Strangely, after some weeks i start missing something. Logging in and playing eve for hours, which makes my GF mad.
