Instead of buggy things that bug you, anything NEW you want to add into the game?
Keyword is NEW.
I for one would like to see motion blur in EVE.

Oh, new EVE sounds to make the game sound as epic as how it looks. AKA Hollywood quality sound effects.

where all belts would move over to a system wide belt, and you would have to use your scanner to find them. graphcis would make it look like your in a huge spawling system wide belt. they even showed screen shots of it. : (

Abilty to set different corp hanger names for different locations. Names that apply to station corp hanger seem stupid for the POS, an orca, or a carrier.
For ships with corp hangers, have the names of the hangers be based on the corp that owns the ship, not the corp the player is in.
Modify invention to always give a success, skills just determine input requirements. Like, one extra datacore for each level below 5. This makes invention jobs more predictable. Allow me to pass the number of copies on a BPC through to the output BPC, just make the number of datacores be based on the number of runs being passed through.
Let me set prices for raw goods like minerals, salvage, datacores and such, then when I show info on a blueprint compute and show the cost of construction. Yes, it would be a bit of work for me to have to associate instances of component BPOs for capitals or T2 intermediate items to get the final cost of the item, but this would make manufacturing SOOOO much easier.
Once this is in place, expand it to corp level.
Let me set offical corp prices for minerals, and let me set variance. Corp buys for 5% under and sells for 5% over with max units available for buy and sell.
Then let me set offical corp blueprints that determine the corp cost based on the raw goods price and the ME of the offical blueprint.
Let me set a manufacturing role that lets members run the offical corp blueprint jobs, taking minerals from the corp hanger even if they don't have take rights on that hanger and place the completed goods in the same corp hanger.
Then, let them buy the item from the corp hanger at the markup I can configure (based on the cost of raw goods and the offical blueprint for the item), OR sell the item for the corp with proceeds going to the corp but not for a price less than the corp manufacturing price plus markup.
Let anyone with the role modify a corp wallet sell order.
Currently, you have to open the corp up to all kinds of theft to allow members to manufacture or sell for the corp, but these changes would give more power to the members while protecting the assets of the corp from theft.
I want better bot detection added into the game to eliminate all bots, mining, missioning, market, and even PVP assist macros.
Rework corporation management. Votes need to be based on total shares, not shares that voted. No taking over a corp when you know the CEO and one of the other directors will be out of town on a business trip. Shares owned by accounts that have not been logged into in a month should be recallable. Roles should be both easier to assign, and more flexible.
Let me set a hot key that when I hold it and click on a wreck/can in the overview it means take everything from the container and put it in my cargo hold.

Lag occurs, not because of too little hardware, but because the items in space in a single solar system can not be spread across multiple servers.
Items in space in a solar system is the smallest chunk they can divide the universe into, and when there are too many items in a single solar system for the beefiest server to handle, you get lag.

Only if you happen to be on a dedicated node. There's plenty of times that fights happen without prior notice and they can lag out several systems as CPU usage maxes out. -- Did you know there's an alliance who's name you're not allowed to say, or website you're not allowed to link? |

Blizzard's servers can afford to run fields of mobs walking around even when nobody is in the region. I think CCP's server farm could handle some orbits :P

Cybernetic Warfare - the ability to access an enemy's computer systems to control various ship functions. for example, low level would do something like disable or reduce primary power and reduce the effectiveness of the ship overall, very high end would access self destruct or turn the drones on the carrier. this could involve creation of not only new skills and modules but an entire new class of ship/drone

This is impossible for the game to track of...at what point does the corp own a ship?

- Adding to the comets and asteroid belts, I'd also like to see: binary or multiple-stars, black holes devouring stars, and star sizes (and temperatures) ranging from dwarves to giants and brown to red to blue. All of them with descriptions.
- And speaking of descriptions, change the planet descriptions from just a set of stats to something interesting. The Mass Effect series did this pretty well (although they only had a few planets to deal with, so I know it's hard) - each planet description had some sort of history or past battle or weird scientific phenomenon described in a short "show info" pane. Made exploring fun.
- Once they implement the comets and asteroid belts, they could also update the planet animations / models to include ongoing asteroid bombardment, huge eruptions venting stuff into space, rings being formed, etc. Also, include polar caps; whole planets being temperate is ridiculous and 1970s Star Warsy.

Just to nit-pick but supposedly every system is a binary system. Unless that's finally been retconned.
I think the stars actually do vary a bit. I still would like to see much more realistic solar systems and more descriptions. -- Did you know there's an alliance who's name you're not allowed to say, or website you're not allowed to link? |
