Instead of buggy things that bug you, anything NEW you want to add into the game?
Keyword is NEW.
I for one would like to see motion blur in EVE.

Abilty to set different corp hanger names for different locations. Names that apply to station corp hanger seem stupid for the POS, an orca, or a carrier.
For ships with corp hangers, have the names of the hangers be based on the corp that owns the ship, not the corp the player is in.
Modify invention to always give a success, skills just determine input requirements. Like, one extra datacore for each level below 5. This makes invention jobs more predictable. Allow me to pass the number of copies on a BPC through to the output BPC, just make the number of datacores be based on the number of runs being passed through.
Let me set prices for raw goods like minerals, salvage, datacores and such, then when I show info on a blueprint compute and show the cost of construction. Yes, it would be a bit of work for me to have to associate instances of component BPOs for capitals or T2 intermediate items to get the final cost of the item, but this would make manufacturing SOOOO much easier.
Once this is in place, expand it to corp level.
Let me set offical corp prices for minerals, and let me set variance. Corp buys for 5% under and sells for 5% over with max units available for buy and sell.
Then let me set offical corp blueprints that determine the corp cost based on the raw goods price and the ME of the offical blueprint.
Let me set a manufacturing role that lets members run the offical corp blueprint jobs, taking minerals from the corp hanger even if they don't have take rights on that hanger and place the completed goods in the same corp hanger.
Then, let them buy the item from the corp hanger at the markup I can configure (based on the cost of raw goods and the offical blueprint for the item), OR sell the item for the corp with proceeds going to the corp but not for a price less than the corp manufacturing price plus markup.
Let anyone with the role modify a corp wallet sell order.
Currently, you have to open the corp up to all kinds of theft to allow members to manufacture or sell for the corp, but these changes would give more power to the members while protecting the assets of the corp from theft.
I want better bot detection added into the game to eliminate all bots, mining, missioning, market, and even PVP assist macros.
Rework corporation management. Votes need to be based on total shares, not shares that voted. No taking over a corp when you know the CEO and one of the other directors will be out of town on a business trip. Shares owned by accounts that have not been logged into in a month should be recallable. Roles should be both easier to assign, and more flexible.
Let me set a hot key that when I hold it and click on a wreck/can in the overview it means take everything from the container and put it in my cargo hold.

Lag occurs, not because of too little hardware, but because the items in space in a single solar system can not be spread across multiple servers.
Items in space in a solar system is the smallest chunk they can divide the universe into, and when there are too many items in a single solar system for the beefiest server to handle, you get lag.

Only if you happen to be on a dedicated node. There's plenty of times that fights happen without prior notice and they can lag out several systems as CPU usage maxes out. -- Did you know there's an alliance who's name you're not allowed to say, or website you're not allowed to link? |

Cybernetic Warfare - the ability to access an enemy's computer systems to control various ship functions. for example, low level would do something like disable or reduce primary power and reduce the effectiveness of the ship overall, very high end would access self destruct or turn the drones on the carrier. this could involve creation of not only new skills and modules but an entire new class of ship/drone

- Adding to the comets and asteroid belts, I'd also like to see: binary or multiple-stars, black holes devouring stars, and star sizes (and temperatures) ranging from dwarves to giants and brown to red to blue. All of them with descriptions.
- And speaking of descriptions, change the planet descriptions from just a set of stats to something interesting. The Mass Effect series did this pretty well (although they only had a few planets to deal with, so I know it's hard) - each planet description had some sort of history or past battle or weird scientific phenomenon described in a short "show info" pane. Made exploring fun.
- Once they implement the comets and asteroid belts, they could also update the planet animations / models to include ongoing asteroid bombardment, huge eruptions venting stuff into space, rings being formed, etc. Also, include polar caps; whole planets being temperate is ridiculous and 1970s Star Warsy.

Just to nit-pick but supposedly every system is a binary system. Unless that's finally been retconned.
I think the stars actually do vary a bit. I still would like to see much more realistic solar systems and more descriptions. -- Did you know there's an alliance who's name you're not allowed to say, or website you're not allowed to link? |

Edited by: Gwenywell Shumuku on 19/04/2011 01:51:04 i want to see, in no particular order:
- make the MAP a stand-alone window! like the fitting window!
- comets and system belts (comets where talked about for exodus-expansion, 11/2004)
- subsystem-targeting for capital warfare
- grid-effects (like -10%speed or other stuff done by command-capitals) to influence the enemy
- formations
- treaties to work out sov-usage
- stargate-fees, stargate sentries (for 0.0 sov of course)
- tactical environments everywhere in the galaxy, not just WHs (knowing your space so you can have something like terrain-properties in battle)
- nicer cyno-effect, trails
- drone-formations (stop the drone-madness, group them together and fight the lag)
- corporation-HQs in incarna with interactive map and stuff for FCs to organize warcampaings better, with live info-feed from scouts displayed on the map
- better recruitemnt tools, let us define "language" for recruitment adds, check api (ingame limited time button) on players
- EVE voice has to be stand alone client, or at least fully interactive over eve-gate. you know this, players told you from day 1 that this would be needed to make it equal with ts3 or vent
- better tutorial. how often did you redo it and its STILL confusing. tested it myself a few weeks ago, terrible. inconsistend rewards, inconsistend path. All the links to external info-sources dont help you, new players want to experience it INGAME, they dont logout and surf evelopedia for 1h. that shouldnt be a requirement anyway.
- ingame tools to calculate and display optimal/falloff/missile explosion radius and stuff in a VISIBLE and CLEAR way, is that so hard? really. you know how often i get that question "how does falloff work" even from seasoned players? do you really have nobody in ccp that has some clue about how "teaching" works? a game should be complicated, but not because its badly presented, but because there are alot of options. the options should be well explained nontheless!
- different size avatars. no really, even if its only 5% difference, but everyone the same hight? i know about problems in animation, ppl won't be happy with the easy solution, not if your goal is to make incarna all about representing with your avatar and interacting socially.
- incarna: cloths. no really, trecking cloths, casual ware? we dont go trecking. we are on stations, we are the HIGH SOCIETY of EvE, demigods. We leave the pod to represent ourselfs, our company, our alliances. its more like "dinner parties" or "business meetings". Once you change that and we can go trecking, fine, more power to trecking cloths.

Yep. (Even though the second point wasn't an error, it was more of a side-remark than a sentence.)
Things like "loose," "turrents," and "fraction ship," are much more stupid, mainly because they don't make logical sense. You did not loose the fight, you lost the fight. You did not fire turrents, you fire turrets. You do not fly fraction ships, that would imply that you're flying a ship with a fraction the strength of a normal ship, while you are in fact flying a ship stronger than a normal ship. (Unless it's a lolScythe Fleet Issue or something.)
But something like "u" instead of "you," and forgetting to capitalize a sentence are much more minor, mainly because they can still make logical sense when written like that. (Though I must admit, I didn't know about pastimes vs. past times.)
Also, I admire your forum-warrior abilities to click on my two most recent posts and find supposed errors in them. I didn't see that coming at all. (We should add a "this person takes things way too seriously" button...) -------- Enemy corps raided into disbandment: Three.

Something something something. People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. The day you can type everything perfectly is the day you can tell other people they can't. Until then you just look like a needy desperate try hard, justifying other people's typos as serious grammatical and educational failings, and your own as mere whisps of folly or ironically intentional. what happens is that you have a system where a zone is subdivided into diferent sections, but if a given zone has 0 population (a big tendancy nowdays with everyone running dungeons to level) its not even loaded. on top of that the zones themselves are "semi cellular" in nature, only the individual cells within a zone that have population at all. and for some older and outland zone its obviouse when you "woke up" (especialy when riding skill is maxed out to allow 310 speed mounts) a zone because the mobs are in tight clusters and suddenly will spin around and wander off.
.End of line.

i would LOVE to be able to paint my ships or say that corps can make more individuel looking ships. like i want a black abbadon with my alliance logos to it or the corp who manufactored it on it..
ALSO wich is more important
more posibilities to invent stuff. like take 3 bpc blend um and if your very damn lucky you get a few bonuses from each race bpc u used. say a thorax, maller and a blackbird, it would blend the specs :) stuff like that

Yes I can read thank you, but can you? You're still projecting your own inadequacy onto others and therefore taking things way too seriously, but without recognising it in yourself.
Stop trying so hard. It's really showing.

Agreeing with a lot of these suggestions so far, including above ^
How about all the empires were sort of at war and there were incentives for players to join one and fight each other to conquer systems resulting in lots of PVP and possible LP rewards?
And there should be some kind of useful space between High-sec and 0.0, slightly greater reward than highsec, slightly safer than 0.0

Camera: FOLLOW SHIP
Imagine the camera is fixed behind the ship (like a racing car game) and it will also turn/rotate with the ship (the ship is always fixed on-screen). It will make the game look much more immersive because of the stronger "first person" feel.

I don't have a clue what you just said - the only thing I could actually understand is that you know how to read the words "thank you" - but I should really stop arguing with people who take their internet spaceships so seriously, or else they might go and do something silly like getting depressed over it.
You know, one time I read this article in the local newspaper about how people take their video games so seriously. It said that some people, when they begin to excessively stress over such games, begin to blur the lines between reality and the virtual world, and it will begin to affect their real lives and cause undue stress. One person was fired for reportedly trying to cast "Fira" on his boss, whose boss then took it to mean "I want to be fired," and promptly fired him. Another person failed high school physics because he thought submarines could fly.
I sincerely hope that this isn't the case with you, Gavjack Bunk, or else Jack Thompson will have something to pride himself with.
Regardless, I have attached this photograph of a glass house. I have no idea of its relevancy, but as you are so wise, philosophical, and witty, you will probably find some use for it in your great quest.
Sincerely, Roosterton

You will clearly say anything in a desperate hope to be right about something, it's not an uncommon affliction. You need to learn how to declare victory silently, inwardly, where nobody else has to suffer your strange ramblings and deliberate obfuscations.

No more server databased features till the servers are fixed k ? :(
And since no one has mentioned it, Wow servers actually dont run npc's running around when there is no one there.
And wow servers cap out and die at 10 k players + Nodes of each server dies when 40v40 clash ....
So its freaking worse lagwise than eve is.
Just everything is instanced, which allows you to let people fight on a deticated node just for that purpose and their code also allows for multiple nodes..

Change rigs so they actually work like temporary jury-rigs instead of semi-permanent passive modules. Place salvage materials in cargo hold, right click on a rig slot and select a rig to install. Can be done in space, in a station, in warp to a target, doesn't matter. No blueprints required - it's an ad-hoc jury rig, assembled thanks to pilot skill. Let players undo jury rigs the same way, just don't return all the materials. Some are destroyed making the rig (an amount that can be reduced through skills).
