Two of my characters were in the Amarr(PVP) and Caldari(for farming) militias before, but I am thinking about getting back for the pvp.
Which one is the more active one currently?
When I was with the amarr militia, people weren't that active or only flew with their corps, so I left.
So when I come back I want to fly with the group that forms fleets in militia chat since I don't plan on joining any FW corps for now.
Which militia would be better in this situation? Also, I can't join gallente or mini because of standings.

Just FYI you don't need to worry about your personal standings if you go in via a player corp, though Gal/Minny may be wary of your past employment. -----------------------------

I can't speak for the Caldari/Gallente Militia's but the Minnies/Amarr have a pretty active US tz from when I was in there a couple weeks back and they still are active as I still keep tabs on the amarr miltia front as I've got friends in there :)
Tbh you really do need to join a player corp these days as no one really trusts the NPC militia members. Generally you also adjust quicker and get into more active combat fleets being in player corporations. And if you worried about Faction standings for empires with player corps I joined my first amarr militia corp with -7 standings to the Amarr empire now it around +5.
But if your truely content about going to NPC militia corp, US TZ for amarr generally worth it, they have a ok EU too.

Amarr seem to be dying at the moment. The whole front is quiet, there is a serious lack of euro daytime and evening fc's in the minmatar. The amarr guys are quiet until neph logs in and then they do the neph blob which causes the minnies to dock up. Pred is doing some good work for them, but generally there is a lack of activity.
Most minnie activity seems to be small roaming gangs atm, whilst amarr go from nothing undocked to 30 in an organised fleet.
Lots of opportunities for small gang and solo work if you rejoin amarr though.
Caldari I dunno.

The only way to get Neph to undock is to fly frigates/AFs etc. That way he feels secure when undocking BCs, cruisers, Recons etc to counter it. Fly a BC gang and Neph will play ***** or dock up until he can get through on the batphone to hotdrop seom carriers. By the time that happens, most of us have logged and gone to bed.

That has been a big problem for Caldari militia for a while...200 guys in militia channel 4 guys x-ing up for fleet because 175 of them are only in it for the missions...
The Cal/Gal front is relatively lively. Lots going on in US Tz and now that SotF is back in Gal militia there should be some play in the EU tz as well.
