Hello I am planning to start ratting in nullsec where blood raider pirates live, and I would like to know which ship (that i can use) should I fit for doing sanctums. I only know that these rats can neut a ship easily, which makes it hard for me to choose. The ships I can use are mostly Caldari and Amarr and these are the ones that i own and can fit proper tank/damage: Golem Tengu Apocalypse Legion If navy issue ships are better I could afford one. And my fighting style is standing in center and shooting stuff down without moving a bit :) I'm looking for suggestions about the ship, and if you have a fitting that would be great too!

If you re blue to the "locals", use 2 ships, 1 for aggroing/DPS and 1 for RR, and yes Blood raiders have heavy neuting, either BS or cruiser size.
I doubt somehow that you can stand in the middle while being neuted to death and shoot all that comes.
Done plexes in there with an ishtar ( iwas not blue to the locals ", keeping at distance with MWD while letting the drones do the dmg, not the most efficient certainly but that works.

I would definitely choose the Tengu, gtfo ability+dmg selection+good dmg+speed+sign radius and a few more funny things but has someone already said, if you are in some friendly systems (blues) and have your local intell chat in front of your eyes just take another ship for bait.
You'll run them faster safely jump to another one and profit. ________________________________________________

Thanks for the tips guys, I will be blue to locals, so I only have to make sure that I wont die in anomalies. Could you post some fittings for the tengu (passive preferred if possible) or amarr T1 ships?

Nah not passive, don't do that mistake.
You can choose the 100M AB (1100m/s + depending on your skills and AB type) or large repairer +sub shield boost (over 1500dps tank with faction booster) and still keep around 650 dps with faction BCU's 2 Rigors (I have T2's) and 1 T2 Flare, with implants your numbers are better than this. About the riggs some like more 1 t2 riggor and 2 t1 flares, someone already posted a spreadsheet of what's better to use just type eve search and you'll easily find it (sorry). Since med riggs are expensive but affordable think about it it's worthy.
Always carry some Explosive and Thermal T2 fury's + utility high slot 1 med neut(the freeking AF that likes to **** on your boots), maybe you'll never use them but if some guys jump in and want a party you'll be prepared (the 100MN AB is very nice to keep them at distance)
Of course if you can faction fit your ship you'll get better performances, except for launchers/ammo and the ultra expensive dread guristas/caldari navy invulnerability field. ________________________________________________
