On behalf of the JM-MC, I extend greetings to the capsuleer contributors and gravity-bound audiences of the Summit alike.
IGÇÖm here to briefly introduce ourselves to the groups and individuals here who otherwise may not be aware of us, as well as make a few brief announcements.
The JM-MC is a social and mercantile club founded on the Gallentean principles of inclusion. WeGÇÖre looking for club members, friends, allies, clients and patrons from all walks of life. We are a young corporation, happy to take pilots in their first days as a capsuleer.
Our headquarters are in the Jin-Mei home system of Lirsautton, where the corporation has purchased a small amount of real estate. Our plan behind this acquisition is to build the first of many high-quality capsuleer venues, each of which is custom-built to cater to the unique needs of such an elite clientele.
Unlike the large majority of corporations out there, our goals are not tied to military objectives or industrial aspirations. We hope to tear down the walls of social and political exclusion, and build more open capsuleer and planet side communities. To that end, we have a few announcements:
WeGÇÖre looking for media contributors and syndication opportunities! The JM-MC wants to help expose all the great capsuleer article writers out there. If you write, professionally or as a hobby, consider letting us know about your article! We can promote it on our own news feed, as well as to other news syndicates if possible, so that your work gets greater exposure!
WeGÇÖre seeking corporate friendships and partnerships! We are hoping to build friendships and business relations with corporations from all across the cluster. Regardless of an entityGÇÖs associations, or political and religious alignments, the JM-MC is always happy to declare public friendships between like-minded corporations, and will be open to discuss business with anyone who has an interest and an idea.
We have a new venue coming soon! Construction of our premiere venue on Lirsautton III has finished, and we are very close to launch! Stay tuned to GalNet and our own corporate news page for updates on our launch day celebrations!
WeGÇÖre looking for investors! At the urging of its Garoun investors, the JM-MC is looking to experiment with third-party investments to help fund corporate initiatives. Our hope is to build a reputation for reliability and trustworthiness by building a small group of happy and satisfied clients.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

For Immediate Release
After a week of positive negations, the JM-MC and Stillwater Corporation (Ticker: WHIST) have decided to form an official partnership. The specific details of this business arrangement will remain private between the two corporations, but are designed to strengthen both corporationsGÇÖ on-going projects, ranging from venue promotion to industrial support. Stillwater has also generously offered access to veteran advisers for our days-old pilots, should they ever need it.
We are confident that this partnership will bring prosperity to both parties, and hopeful that it is the first of many mutually-beneficial arrangements the JM-MC will enter into.

I'm afraid I must echo this sentiment. You may potentially be a security liability to the Lirsautton star system and the Jin-Mei homeworlds by forming an "official partnership" with a corporation that is known to have associations with the Angel Cartel, one of the worst rogue organizations in New Eden. I humbly implore the Jin-Mei Mercantile Club to keep its activities outside of the non-capsuleer sphere, as such an agreement has the potentiality of threatening Lirsautton citizens.
"Inclusion" does not mean including absolutely everyone; it is a two-way process. You do not include psychotic murderers (for example) with a group of peace-loving UoC students, as the latter would end up dead at the hands of the former. While this is a strong-handed example, the sentiment is the same. Rumour has it that the Stillwater Corporation attempts to leverage influence in sovereign empire systems through legal business exchanges.
Even if you disregard the suspected Angel Cartel ties, the CEO of Stillwater Corporation is an Amarrian Holder, and I'd note that slavery is illegal in the Federation. I assume both parties will respect this in your "official partnership".
Here's to hoping the Jin-Mei Mercantile Club will conduct more discretionary and appropriate business practices in the future. |

Unfortunately, in a cluster like this, one often doesn't have the luxury of choosing business partners as they please! In addition to our current partnership, we would love to be able to announce closer ties to Jin-Mei organizations, as well as Federation bodies and groups. Despite our best efforts, however, only a few have been receptive to us when we've reached out.
As a business and as a corporation, we cannot afford to linger and wait on other groups to grow, or hear us out. We have to push forward with those who show promise and interest in supporting us.
If the pragmatism of choosing business partners who can readily assist us disconcerts anyone, then that is unfortunate. We will, however, maintain our current ties and continue to seek other relationships with entities from across the cluster.

I, also, am immensely disappointed.
I'm disappointed that there are so many individuals who are naive enough to view the cluster, its people, and the business done therein, as a black-and-white affair.
I'm disappointed that certain individuals -- most of whom I have a massive amount of respect and admiration for -- prefer to complain about perceived problems, rather than be solution-oriented about them.
So you have a problem with who we're doing business with? Please, by all means, offer suggestions as to who we would work well with. Tell them to message us, and we will gladly meet with them and discuss opportunities.
Do you have a problem with us, as individuals or as business people? We will gladly fit you into our schedules and hear your concerns through civil discourse. Just ask Esna Pitoojee.
You think we don't care? Screw that noise. Get off your ass and come have a chat with us instead of making knee-jerk assumptions. |

I am not disappointed, nor surprised.
Having several federal puppets yell around with wild assumptions, claiming random rumours whilst not offering anything beneficial to the discussion is just what I expected.
Now if you'll excuse us, we have actual business to do. As much as monsieur Inhonores' attempts of imposing some kind of authority amuse me, if you don't like that, too bad. .domination malakim .stillwater |

A little free advice for the Mercantile Club.
I have no problem with you and no problem with Stillwater. Business is business and you don't always get your first choice of partners. My advice is if you are working with a Cartel affiliate then write out a code of ethics for your employees now. Make it specific. Make it explicit. Publish it. My personal experience is that the Angels are masters at getting people to walk down slippery slopes. The line in the sand you set now will rein you back later.
Unless that's what you want. |

Captain Dalesi,
Thank you for your constructive and objective input. We will be taking your suggestion under advisement. |
