Hi, just installed industrial Core in my Rorqual with no idea how to use it. Can you use it inside a POS or does it need to be a certain distance from a POS before i am able to use the Industrial Core. What hanger should the ore be in and what hanger should the blueprint be in. I have tried the following. 1. had the ore the cargo bay with blueprint, right clicked appropriate blueprint with the industrial core activated it says i need to be in space, I then moved rorqual just outside shields and it still said i need to be in space. i tried different hangers and tried to install job with or without the core activated. Any help would most appreciated

1. Find a nice spot in the POS force field next to an array filled with lots of ore. 2. Put heavy water into the Rorqual's fuel bay. You won't be needing any isotopes, so you might as well as remove any. 3. Activate the Industrial Core. 4. I like to keep the compression BPO in the Rorqual's coporate hangar, and just type the ore name into the search field for the type of ore (ore must be in the Rorqual's cargohold), so no other BPO appear in the window. Right-click and select Manufacturing. 5. When the job is complete, deliver it via the S&I window.
The Rorqual's compression lines show on the Science and Industry Installations tab: * Activity: Manufacturing * Location: Any * Type: Personal * Prod Category: All * Prod Group: All

Thanks for the information great help got it working, i think also you have to wait for the rorqual to fully transfom before starting compression which is about 1/4 cycle. Thanks again for the reply.

You don't have to wait for the animation to finish.

You don't have to wait for the animation to finish. You can start compressing as soon as you activate the core.
This is 100% correct, don't waste that time! Compress immediately!

You can also research the compression BPs to speed up compressions, which can actually be quite useful.

I don't recommend researching higher than P.E. 20, because the max number of runs you can do in a single job is limited by the size of the cargohold.
M.E. research has no effect on compression BPO.
