Edited by: Barakkus on 11/05/2011 00:03:20 It depends on where you live and hang out. If you're in a cluster of systems where there are multiple corps dec'ing people for lulz, then it's not unlikely when they see a lot of your members hanging out...and especially if they are sporting crap fits or really expensive fits....or someone in corp smacks in local a lot... - - [SERVICE] Corp Standings For POS anchoring

It seems multiple war decs are normal for a high sec corp, so we are taking the approach that war is just part of life in EVE, even in so-called "safe" space. Perhaps it can even make the game more interesting.
Seems like you and your corp have the the right attitude. You should be fine. Use it as a learning/teaching experience and get a few kills. It can do wonders for corp morale and teamwork.

Make verbal protection agreements with other like minded corporations in your area. When you get war decked they can provide logistics, scouting, even neutral remote repping if need be. Actually forming an alliance with another corp won't necessarily keep the griefers from war decking you, and it's not always easy to spot the people who are helping you when it's not an alt of yours...
Do not assume that there are no war targets in local -everyone in this game has alts. You should have one as well for those times when you need to get something done while your main is fighting the war. If you can't engage the griefers without killing some of their ships then start a second character on your main's account and train it for the duration of the war, and give it skills that can benefit your main. It will also take away the griefer's fun because you're main won't around for them to taunt and shoot.
Don't talk in local at all, other than to offer advice when asked. You never know when some weak minded individual will take what you typed the wrong way.
The best way to deal with a play ground bully is to ignore them, so your corp may have to go quiet during a war deck if it can't field enough pilots...

Smoothe sailing and huge profits
You know who else thought they couldn't be found? Osama Bin Laden.
Pics or it didn't happen. That sob got vaped in Tora Bora 10 years ago, but its hard to push wars without an enemy figure.
